New To ECF

Hello everyone.
I'm new to ECF but have been vaping about 6 months. I started with the Kanger evod and later the emow. I recently purchased a Sigelei Zmax V3 with an 18650 batt and really like it using the Kanger evod mega tanks and the aero tanks. I was recently given a Igo - W RDA and would like to know if it can be used with my Sigelei? If so what are the recommended batteries, gauge of wire and wraps? Thanks in advance and glad to be on board.

Welcome to the forums, the zmax v3 can handle and coil above 1.3ohms. Anything at 1.2 or lower will give low load message.

Zmax V3 Black_ZMAX_vv/vw mod_SIGELEI Electronic Cigarette -
Low Load= low atomizer resistance (less than 1.2Ohm)

I would recommend trying a single coil with 28 guage 7 wraps around a 5/64 bit should be right at 1.3. That's my kayFUN build. If you want dual run 2 30 guage coils at 2.6 each. Possibly 9 wraps around a 1/16 drill bit. Try a vape calc and test. Find what works.

Single coils on your mod is best Imo and crank it up all the way or till it tastes too warm for you.

Thank you Sthur for your reply and info. Now that I know the Zmax can and will accommodate an RDA I'll follow your advice with the dual until I can get a single coil RDA.

Welcome to ECF. There are many folks on here that can help you out, I'm not one of them. I've been vaping for over a year but don't know about making mods. I fully support the B&M stores with ready made units and juices. Have a good day and keep on vaping.

Thanks Diver9543. I have and do like the ready made units and juices I have but have been intrigued by a friend blowing "clouds" on his Mech Mod. Just wanted to try RDA vs Tank to my taste.

Welcome, I'm new as well. I don't know anything specific about the mega tank, but I usually like to stay in the 26-30 gauge range and anywhere between 8-12 wraps. I use 1/8, 3/32, 5/32, or 3/16 size drill bit as a jig usually and if doing micro coils I'll go with a 3/32 bit.
