howdy - and welcome! not sure about the mod and atty, but i don't believe that battery is vapesafe - to best of my knowledge, highest mah rating you will see on a decent, vape-safe battery is 3000mah... would recommend getting a decent battery... samsung 25r, lg he4, sony vtc4 (if you are going to keep build above .5 ohms, first two are more than adequate)

Hi,
I also would recommend a regulated mod. Like the Joyteck eVic mini 75 watt kit it come with a Tron tank it costs around $60.00. Get some good Sumsung 18650 25R batteries and a good charger a Nitecore D4. You can use the tugboat clone you bought. That 2.2 ohm build will work with the eVic mini. Save the mechanical mod for later when you are more of an expert.

Short answer, no. There aren't any safe vape batteries with 5000 mAh. I also personally oppose the use of faux hybrid mods like the SMPL because it is to easy to get a short at the battery top where the atomizer makes direct contact with the battery. Safe mechs have a center pin for the atomizer connection, or are true hybrids with no top cap or 510 connection at all; the atomizer base is threaded M20 x 1 (or whatever) to screw directly in to the tube.

Hi and welcome. Be careful about what you buy and where you buy from. Glad to have you here, and vape safe!
