devices capable of high power only deliver the amount of power that you set them at. If mechanical, your coil determines that. If you use a lower volt/wattage it just means longer battery life. I never subohm, yet my adv mod will supply 110watts if I ask it to & my coil will allow it. There power is available, I just don't use all of it. I'm at 14.5 watts, but have 110 available. My batts last for days. Whatvs important is that you aren't smoking, & enjoy your vapes! Welcome to ECF!

Hello everyone I'm new to the scene of vaping after smoking for 20yrs my dad got me into vaping. Started out with 100w aster rt seems like a great device just not a fan of direct lung hits right now, switched to aster 75w with nautilus x an haven't smoked in two days. To me that is a perfect ranked for anyone looking for a mtl. How to talk to a lot of people that know more than I do.
Welcome and glad you joined. Congratulations, 2 days is a great start.

Great to see you Urlacher, and wahoooooooooooo congrats on bein 2 days off cigs!!! Yur dad is a doll, and can certainly help ya with anything you need as you know! I was thinking the same as Kenna that the nauti x was one of those combo tanks that you could use as a tank, RDA and that it could be BF, but I just looked it up and we must both be thinking of another one. But if and when the time comes to move on to that, you've certainly got an "in" when it comes to bottom feed hehehe Wishing you the very best with your vaping adventure. Just reach out for help if it gets frustrating. It's definitely not as easy as just lighting a cig, but it's worth the effort to be free of them.
Thanks debadoo, dad started on the eleaf pick squeeze which is a great device just wanted to put off building my own coils until I was a little more comfortable with vaping.

Jup, that's the way to start.......easy peasy. There are enough differences with vaping to get used to without having to worry bout extra stuff for now. Some always stay with what they start with and that's fine too. Whatever works for you! Don't matter what someone else does. :)

Easy Hula, my dog used to be his dog. (pictured above is Hula's interpretation of my home security system after a few minor altercations involving 87 lbs of sweet, lovable and VERY protective Sheppard)
By the way, what does "chuffed" mean to people from this side of the pond ?

Ty deranged, my dad is a longtime member he originally got me the eleaf pico squeez, which is not bad but as I said before not a big lung hit person. And I'm glad I chose the nautilus x tank awesome for mtl vapers. I'm still trying to find my adv though
Urlacher78, Welcome to the forums and to the smoke free community in general. I'm not familiar with the pico squeez so I had to look it up. Looks like a nice simple mod, easy to use. That's the way to go. Keep it simple. Vaping can easily turn into a hobby. Which is cool, if that's what you want.

Personally, I like to keep it simple, I use the Provari and a Kayfun Light. Does just what I need from a mod. Press the button and it fires and it's easy to maintain.

Welcome,@Urlacher78! Your dad is well-loved in these parts. It's good to see you here and GREAT to hear you are now cigarette free. Two days.....this time next year we'll be celebrating your first Vapiversary. Cool. Back when I started vaping (after smoking for over 40 years,) the first time I made it through a whole 24-hour cycle, I knew I could do it. Good luck.

Your dad also mentioned trying to get your sister to switch over, but she didn't like it.

If she sees it working for you too, she may give it another try.

:D Chuffed means happy-proud of something or someone. I give you a reo for Christmas, you'd be well chuffed. Son takes up vaping and you're well chuffed......(uh, no...don't be waiting for the mailman, it's just an example) lol!

Why does Bronze remind me of Charlie Brown or Marvin the paranoid android? scratches head.....

Do you mean Marvin Jones. as played by John Malkovich in the "RED" movies ?

Urlacher78, I got your text and replied. But I am not that familiar with the Nautilus. Maybe you could do an ECF 'Search' by Title only.... ?

That's what I'm hoping after talking with her she doesn't seem to have the same flavor palette as
Did Mini Pop Pop make it to Day 3?
still here going strong vaping dragons fire now. Gotta say I can't pinpoint the flavors for the long few of me but it's a good vape.
