Hello everyone I am fairly new to this. I recently bought a itaste svd and a protank 2. I have been reading on this forum for some time now and wanted to ask what is the advantages or disadvantages of cartomizers over tanks?

boge cartos are pretty good and I have a protank myself and I'm loving the flavor as well. I don't have much experience with cartos but from what I've heard the flavor from cartos are better, but need more maintenance than your protank.
I have the Protank II and the Smok DCtank which uses Cartos. I replaced the dual coil (dc) cart with the Boge single coil cart in the Smok DCTank and in my opinion....yes, the 'cartotanks' have much more flavor! I have used my Protank once and haven't touched it since I started using the carto tanks. I love my Boges and DCtanks.

This is all still new to me. I haven't had a cigarette in 2 months now. I originally bought a storm clearomizer starter kit from vaporking. The itaste is one I got for 30$ at a flea market just to try. From what I c here the Provari is the thing to have I just like to research things a little before investment of 200 on a mod. Im leaning more towards it every day though.

At first I just didn't c the use in e cigs but once I found a juice I liked the taste of my opinion changed very quickly. There just isnt any stores around here so I have to order everything. I don't like that because I cant c what im buying first. I just don't wanna waste a lot of $ trying to figure out what is the best. I would rather see what the majority has to say and go ahead and get the best up front. Im glad I found this forum.

I use clearomisers (glass and plastic) and cartomisers in tanks and have tried most things.
A simple cartomiser is nice and easy to use and normally gives a reliable vape. In a tank, if you can get it "right" it's a magical creation of super-vapour and impressive taste. A clearomiser can be excellent too....don't get me wrong, I have some mini protanks and love them.
In regard to maintenance, IF you simply replace the heads in a protank, nova, evod, CE clearo/glasso, then they are faff free, almost.
If you rebuild, you save money, but need to weigh up the trade off.
I like cartos in a tank. They eventually get weaker or poorer, then you need to go through the ritual of setting them up again. I think I enjoy this more than messing around with clearo heads.
