Hello!I just got the new eGo-c Twist and I have some problems and questions.

I'm using an ego-c atty(with a spike)..and if I get past 4.0 volts I get a very bad burnt taste.
I tried both SR and LR attys.

My cartomizers are somehow broken(bad taste or not giving the wanted vapor quantity).

So what else can I try or do to enjoy the maximum 4.8 volts without a burnt taste?

Maybe your e-liquids are too thick (VG based?) to poor down fast enough down the atty, and so when your are using 4.0 volts, it burns the little amount of liquid too fast.

I'm new too, so this is just a thought. At first, I also got a burnt taste. My best tip was to put my PV vertically, mouth piece up, and then tap it 5-6 times on me knee so that my e-liquid may drip into the atty. Never got a single burnt puff since!

The extra heat generated by higher voltages will vaporize more juice than the eGo tank systems are normally tuned to deliver to the coil. In other words, more juice is being vaporized than the wick can keep up with. Although normally you would use a slow, soft drag with eGo tanks, my experience with the Twist is that with higher voltages you'll need to drag a bit harder in order to pull more juice through the wick. Occasionally doing a few fast, hard dry drags (without pressing the button) will also also help provide more juice to the coil.
