Just got my new EVOD starter kit and so far it has been good. Trying to cut off my smoking habits and hopefully stop smoking entirely.

Just some questions, is it normal that i will cough a bit when i vape or?

Can i upgrade my EVOD if i want the vaping to be smoother, more clouds and have the same or somewhat similar to the feel of smoking when it reaches your throat?

A lot of folks, me included, cough like crazy when they first start vaping.

From what i understand (and please if I am wrong correct me) is that is the result of all the crap in your lungs breaking up and coming out.

For the smoother cloud producing throat hit question, there will be about a million and 1 answers to that.

This rabbit hole goes deep.

Its good to know that coughing is normal when starting out. At least i know it wont lead to bronchitis or something similar. Is there a specific term for the smooth cloud producing throat hit or a specific thread for that?

I am mixing my juice. 1 is a watermelon flavoured 100% VG and another 1 is the liqua citrus with 9mg nic. Hope thats alright.

Vaping is much better but i cant smoke in public where i'm at but have not been smoking that much ever since i've started vaping. Slowly but surely. :)

Some people have to experiment a bit with inhaling vapor. My wife cough some at first because, when she smoked, she just inhaled straight into her lungs. Myself, I always drew the smoke into my mouth, and then inhaled while mixing it with air. It turns out this is the best way to vape. It came naturally to me but my wife had to change.

Also, as itskohler said, less nicotine will make the vapor less harsh....or more VG...or different flavors.

The Evod is a great starter kit, but you may find the need to change technique or liquid.
