Hi and Welcome to ECF :)

This will probably help out a bit http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-10-advancing-up-vaping-ladder-egos-mods.html it really is a matter of what you want and need, as well as what is aesthetically pleasing to you personally.

eGo style VV (twist, spinner, winder etc) with a decent clearo is always a good starting point, if you want "more" it will always be a useful backup. Rule #1 - get back ups to backup your backups back up! :)

You've been using a disposable cigarette look-a-like? (cig-a-like). If so, you probably have a fair idea of what this sort of e-cig can offer.

I would certainly advise you to get a bigger and better system, yes. :)

As for Apollo and Volcano, neither get my recommendation. Although I can't speak for the US (and my comments make me unpopular with certain people) you can do better for less. In the UK, I know somebody who bought a ******** set for $185. She could have bought exactly the same product from an independent vendor for $89.99.

Food for thought.

If you have access to B&M (a real store), I would head down and harangue them. Being able to feel the different devices helped me a lot. I was able to pick up an Innokin iTaste VV and a aspire BDC tank with a bottle of juice for ~$65. Having a VV/VW allows you to adjust the taste to your preference.
Make use of the sample bar also, finding what flavors works for you will make the switch easier.
Have a nice day and welcome to the forum.

I have basic Evod and Ego Twists that I use as everyday run around/go to work cigs, which I charge in rotation...they're very reliable and owning a few of them so you have backups won't break the bank. Be certain to have some extra coils for the tanks you use and backup bottles of juice as well. Then in time if you wish to progress to mods and rebuildables you'll have basics to fall back on if needed...

Welcome and ask any specific questions you need!

I agree with finding a B & M vape shop. Especially if they have a juice tasting setup to sample flavors before buying them and you are able to see/hold the device before purchasing. Have the salesperson explain the difference in features.

I would recommend an Ego Spinner (variable voltage) battery setup with a clearomizer tank that accepts replaceable coil heads.

seems decent for a stater but issues you may run into since it is not a removable battery is the internal battery could die and the unit will be useless.. check out the vamo units on that site...then shop around on those as you can get vamo starter kits (mod, battery, charger, and tanks) for the price of what myvaporstore.com is selling just the mod for.

A Vamo is a big mod e-cig. Only you can predict if something that size would work for you. I do 90% of my vaping on regular sized kit, albeit a little bigger than a 650mAh eGo battery.

Have you googled iTasteVV v.3? This does most of what a Vamo does... but won't last 2 days or more (up to 1 day, probably), and won't take the biggest and best tanks.

I started with a coolfire I. It was pretty cheap, came with the iclear 30B and all I needed was the batteries to get me going. I found that the set wattage of 8.5 was perfect for what I was vaping at the time. I have since gathered many other mods and cartomizers/tanks to the collection but still go back to the coolfire occasionally as that is where it typically vape at power wise. That first day I got the device, I got rid of the analogs and have been free and clear ever since.

Nothing wrong with an Ego twist combo but quite honestly why bother because as sure as eggs is eggs there will come a point when you are going to want to move on from that combination and get something better. Personally I would skip the Ego stage altogether and get an Innokin iTaste MVP2, fantastic battery life, up to 10 watt output, and an easy to understand digital readout which will also double as an ohmeter should you want to build your own coils in the future. Add a Kanger Mini Pro 3 clearomizer tank (they go well together both in looks and in function) and your all set to go with plenty of change from your budget.
