After many decades of smoking cigarettes, I started "vaping" three months ago. Without a doubt it is one of the best decisions I have ever made for my wellbeing. I threw the cigarettes in the garbage and I havent looked back since. Thank you Shawn at ZigCigs for your videos and personal help in getting me started with e cigarettes.
As you can imagine I have tried many methods of smoking secession. Cold turkey, gum, patches, shots and pills did not work for an addict like me. Almost any amount of stress would send me to the nearest 7/11 for relief. Vaping, however, is a different animal. Done properly throat hit alone is enough to make me feel that I am still smoking. Its kind of like switching brands of cigarettes. It takes a very short time to get used to it. To me that is the beauty of vaping, its an almost a painless transition from cigarettes. U Tube videos and web forums like this one have made my transition even easier. I would also like to say that without exception my dealings with everyone I have had contact with, be it suppliers or individuals, has been outstanding. I am sure there are rogues out there but I havent seen one yet.
I am not saying that I am cured. I still crave nicotine but I can see a light at the end of the tunnel. My game plan is to be nicotine free in six months. Every couple of weeks I drop the nicotine levels about two milligrams and I havent hit a wall yet. Wish me luck.
