Ok so I have been vaping off and on for the last year and a half due to necessity. I'm in the navy and we can no longer smoke underway, but e-cigs are allowed. so when the ban came into effect I did a lot of research at the time and started with Blu e-cigs. I loved them but they weren't a replacement cigarette. as soon as I came home from being at sea I lit up and enjoyed. now, I'm thinking of making a serious conversion to full time e-cigs. in fact I promised my wife that this pack of smokes would be my last, and that I would convert to e full time. so now i'm researching and looking, watching youtube videos, comparing all sorts of things, but research only goes so far, so I want to get some advice and questions answered
ok, so lengthy intro finished, I'm looking at the Firebrand Diablo Falcon cartomizer, but am interested in finding out if the eGo mega Dual Coil Cartomizer fits on the falcon batt. I don't know what type of battery the falcon uses. would this be a good combination? are there better suggestions? I'm pretty sure that I want cartomizers, I will also likely get the syringe for refilling, but another question is how long will a cartomizer last, in terms of refills? that's all I will put for now, thanks for reading and I'll be reading reading reading!

The firebrand diablo falcon shows that it is an ego device so....... its going to have standard 510 threading and can work with any cartomizer thats based around the 510, word of note that boge 2ohm cartos usually last me around six days each with around 3-5mL of eliquid used through them each day. The syringe is used for the first fill then I top-up as needed. I would also recommend picking up a drip tip when you do decide to make your order. They make it easier to keep a watchful eye on the filler material that should be mostened if it begis to look dry. Good luck. Happy vaping.

welcome and good luck on your search. ive never heard of the brands you stated but the most popular starter kits are usually ego type. i suggest going with something like that. they are tried and true.

I wouldn't get anything lower than the 1000 mAh eGo battery. The 650 mAh doesn't last very long. If you were a heavy smoker, go with the 1000 mAh battery. Those last most of a day. You may have to change the battery once during the day with a 1000 mAh. I would have at least 3 batteries, preferably, 4-5. If something happens to one battery and you only have two...that wouldn't be good.

I use the eGo DCC and like them. They hold a LOT of juice (almost 5 ml) and will last for a very long time, depending on how much you vape...all day, most of a day.

Madvapes.com now has metal drip tips for them if you find you don't like the rubber ones that come with them. Silver Drip Tip for the eGo Dual Coil and black delrin Black Anodized Drip Tip for the EGO Dual Coil

ok so even with a 1.6ohm resistor? seems the higher the mah the higher the resistor should be. that being said I found one 1000mah battery from INFERNO - Super Battery, but I don't know if it will fit what I'm working with. here's what I'm thinking.

what's the deal with the drip tips? I'm relatively new to the higher end e-cigs, so I don't know anything really about drip tips. I'm making this transition from Blu to eGo, so some of the mechanics are lost on me. is the drip tip just the tip, or as I've read a tip that you can manually drip e liquid onto? I want to use the cartomizer listed above, are drip tips necessary and or desired?

From the looks of it, the inferno is basically an eGo battery. Most people here will recommend the bigger batteries, such as that, over a 510, because the charge lasts longer. Basically equate mAh into hours, so a 350 battery will last around 3.5 hours, where a 1000 will be more like 10.

Drip tips have a large hole in the mouthpiece so that you may drip juice directly onto the atomizer. You don't have to drip to use a drip-tip, say if you want it on a cartomizer...it's multifunctional like that. It's all about personal preference though.

ok but I have to counter with something I read on the larger mah batteries that said "will not work on low resistance resistors" under 2 ohms... the mega dual coil is a low res @1.6 ohms, so just from what madvapes had on the higher mah batteries, I would have to go with something less powerful, hence why I'm looking at the 350mah batteries. any advice on this?

ok so made my decision, ordered the eGo Mega Dual Coil Cartomizer, Flat Tip (x5) and the Super 510-T Kit, Black that apparently was the reason the site was down, brand new from mad vapes!
