Hey all!, been browsing through these forums for quite some time now, doing some research on what I'm looking for. Figured i would finally sign up and introduce myself.

My name is Mike, from NJ. I have been smoking for 14 years, about a pack a day if not more. Tried the e-cig a little over a year ago and after a day of use i gave up and went back. Figured i would give it another shot. I'm glad i did, I ordered a GLV2 from greatlakes about 2 weeks ago but while waiting for it i also got a Joye 510 mega kit just to hold over. What an amazing thing. Can't wait for the GLV to arrive =)

Now i'm playing around with the different flavored juices. Ordering samples from different places to get a feel for a permanent home to order from. Feel free to reply with your favorites!

Hi Mike!

You might want to try juice from nhaler, he's also in NJ. I get mine from him in a day! I love reading the juice review section, get lots of great ideas on what to try!

That's really awsome that you got a GLV2. I personally prefer the 5 volt over the 3.7 volt version but both are very nice PV's. Most new vapers aren't willing to try one of the better PV's right off the bat. Good for you!

Being a PAD smoker, I would suggest that you get 24mg nicotine strength eliquid to start out with. It should make the transition easier. You can always lower it if need be, but you can't make it higher.

Haha yea well from what some friends have been saying and from what i've been reading, the 5v offers the throat hit i've been looking for, The joye 510 isnt bad either with the hit (Using a passthrough) so i am looking forward to the GLV.

Welcome to the party Mikey3. The swedishfish reccomendation for nHaler is right on target. Very good supplier withn a nice selection of hardware too. Another good juice supplier very close to you is backwoods brew. The link below is a valuable resource for good Suppliers and a way to save $$$$$$.

Congrats Mike and welcome! Juice recommendations can be tricky as my buds are not your buds, however, I really really really like Special Roast Coffee from Awesome Vapor I've had very good luck with juices from FreedomsmokeUSA and Vapor Bomb. All three ship your order quickly. The most important thing to remember when trying juices, especially as a new vaper, is that your taste buds will change the farther away from smoking you get. If you don't like the flavor when you first get it, put it away for a month and try it again.

My first order came from Halo. I purchased the sampler pack and love them all so far. Also got the Cappuccino flavor from Vaporheads.net when i got the Joye mega kit. So far so good. Thanks for all the info too by the way =)

So far my favorites are the Freedom Juice, Menthol Ice, and the Bella Valente. The Smooth 8 is pretty good too if you like a hint of ginger. All 7 are great but the 1st three i listed are my favorites.

For tobacco flavors I always enjoyed the Halo stuff. First 3 months of vaping I went through many bottles of the smooth 8, I got hooked on the "hint of ginger". Now with DIY I make it myself.
