Just wanted say hello to you fellow Halonauts and introduce myself. I've been lurking for a couple months, researching and reading. Like a lot of others, I first experienced e-cigs via the Blu disposable. I thought it was interesting, but I knew it wasn't going to getting me off cigs. I did some cursory web searching, which almost led me to purchase a V2 starter kit. A little voice in my head told me that all those rave reviews and suspicious "ranking" websites were suspect.

Thankfully, I decided to press on with my research and found a couple of blogs that confirmed my suspicions. These blogs also led me to Halo. I bought a G6 starter kit and sampler pack 2 months ago. The day it showed up in the mail was the last day I had a cigarette. I found all the juices to be interesting. I have yet to try one that I haven't enjoyed. Something that surprised me was that I was sure that I was going to be into the tobaccos and not so much the fruity flavors. While I do enjoy the tobaccos on occasion, it's the fruity ones that I keep coming back to.

Coming from Pall Mall menthols, throat hit is what it's all about for replicating the satisfaction I once got from cigs. I've tried about a dozen of the Halo juices, and so far, Voodoo is my #1. I guess I should also mention that I have since upgraded to the Triton VV, which is just absolutely awesome. Excellent vapor, taste, and battery life. I was charging the G6's sometimes twice a day. I have yet to kill the Triton in a day's time.

Anyway, looking forward to this new hobby/habit. Vape on! :vapor:

so many of us share the same story.
my favourite flavour so far is tribeca, and I really enjoy malibu. the only other one I tried was kringles curse which tastes unsurprisingly like xmas candy cane, was good, but not my favourite.

I use a triton tank with the non adjustable battery, and I'll continue to use it while out. never leaks, consistent vape, no complaints.
i've ordered a SVD mod for home, though. I don't think those setups are great when on the go, though, too bulky and heavy for me.

Congratulations on finding excellent liquid early on, before you spent a lot on disappointing ones! Halo is the one liquid that I found still hits the spot after two years. Malibu, Menthol Ice, Prime 15 and Tribeca are my favorites in the bunch. You might find yourself going back and forth between tobacco and non-tobacco flavors - I still do when my tastes shift. Sure is more interesting than smoking ever was!

welcome to the club! congrats on trying to give up cancer sticks.

I second that...welcome to the club!

As I'm sure you're aware, lots of good people here and some with pretty impressive knowledge on vaping in general as well as vaping specific to the Halo devices/juices we all purchase. You will get the most out of your Halo products and experiences by being here...no doubt so welcome to the cool kids club :2cool:

I must admit, it is reassuring to keep reading stories similar to my own experience. Two or three yuears ago, I decided to try out e-cigs, and I also started with the Blu rechargeable starter kit. The technology and flavors were nowhere near as good and diverse as they are now, so it was an effort to stay on them. Plus, at the time I didn't know whether the entire INDUSTRY ITSELF was a scam! What the heck are e-cigs, ya know? All the website reviews look(ed) like scams, so I had no clue. I enjoyed them, they were a novelty, but the cute presentation and light vapor/throat hit/consistency and performance were nowhere near a match for a 1.5 PAD camel filter habit.

So, I did my research like you, and came upon multiple brands, surprised at how much the industry had grown and evolved, and consequently very confused. Everything under the sun mentioned V2, but thanks to a few honest reviews out there attempting to buck the trend, I stayed away from them. This is nothing against V2 as I have yet to try them, buy I highly doubt they are as Godly as they are made out to be. Anyway, I was led to Halo through very detailed reviews, impressed with their website and presentation, and ended up ordering a blue G6 kit and a red Triton kit at the same time, because I am apparently a child with a child's impulses. I couldn't be happier with the results. I am still steeping flavors and discovering what I do and do not like (Tribeca and Torque56 are front-runners), but the Triton is doing everything I need it to do to keep me off the analogs.

Long story short, I think you made the right choice and hopefully you continue to have success with Halo's stuff.
