Hey everyone im totally new to this. I've never done a forum or the vapor cigarettes. I need advice on what to get and what not to get. I almost got sucked into the free trial but my bestfriend warned me and gave me this site to talk to people and find out what's good and bad. So please let me in on the how to get going. I would love to leave the real cigarettes behind me and start to breathe again. Thank you.

Need more information about your smoking. What strength cigarettes do you smoke, how many per day, and how long each day are you away from power for charging?

For light smokers or people near power most of the time. good slim minis may be enough and I recommend Joye 510 manual (atomizer + drip tip to test juices, Boge standard resistance cartomizers for vaping) OR KR808D-1 manual (Vapor4Life, SmokelessImage, Bloogplanet) (this is a 2-piece cartomizer unit but on manual batteries you can use a drip tip w/ a DSE901 standard resistance atomizer to test juices). I recommend manuals because it's easier to get a good hit and they are much safer from being damaged or killed by juice leaks. Plus drip tips are not recommended on auto batteries. These batteries run around 180-220mah fo the short ones and 280-320mah for the longer ones (100mah is about 1 hour of moderate vaping).

For much longer charge life and the option of using the low resistance (LR) hotter atomizers and cartomizers, you have to skip slim ecigs and look at bigger ecigs with 450mah+ batteries (typically 650mah+) like Joye Ego and Riva 510 (see Liberty-Flights.com and press the 20% off first ), or mods.

To learn more, read the multipart guide here and ignore the super-minis because a super-mini rarely keeps anyone happy for more than 3 weeks so they are generally a waste of money. I think this guide does not cover Ego, Riva, mods.

900 Mah eGo batteries, even the ones from Smoktech Last meover 2 days, and I never put the thing down...
I'd look into more than just Liberty flight, even tho demon is right, it is a pretty good site, but there's so many options, for instance... Madvapes.com has really good eGo starter kits, that I've recommended, people have bought, used, still use, and Love, as well as me. I've had no problems out of them whatsoever... Madvapes also have some nice mods, and their Juices are really good as well... They also have other types of kits, but the eGo is the one I recommend in full

I second Demon's recommendation of the Riva from liberty flights. Pickup a 15 pack of Boge LR (2.0 Ohm) cartomizers from crystalclearvaping.com for $20 and free shipping and some juice from a reputable vendor and you're good to go for quite a while. The 15 pack at ccv comes with a driptip or two and the liberty flights riva kit comes with atomizers so you can try dripping and cartomizers (the LF kit also comes with cartridges but cartridges suck).
