Re fruit - Vixen Vapor Peach is very nice. FreedomSmokeUSA Pomegranate is a strong fruit flavor (not exactly Pomegranate but nice. Velvet Vapor Raspberry Gingerale is very good. But I found fruit flavors like Cherry can taste like cough medicine.

Re flavor - this is what fruit eliquid vapor will taste like: sweet or sweet&sour. That is it. And food is exactly the same. The reason is your tongue can only taste sweet, sour, salty, bitter, and umami (savory/MSG). If you don't smell it, a piece of apple will taste identical to a piece of sweet onion. You have to smell the vapor to complete the flavor. An apple liquid puts some hopefully suitable amount of sweet and sour on the tongue, but it is not apple until you smell it.

VG can dull the flavor and add more sweetness. I use high PG juices for good flavor and hit.

Heat can dull flavor - often cooler attys/cartos can deliver flavor better. Heat delivers hit better.

High nicotine can overpower flavor with its peppery effect.

Atomizers - I hate them. They degrade, the coil gets coated with baked on stuff, and everything loses its flavor. I use cartomizers for my main juices. If 7-10 days later the carto gets weak flavor and vapor, you toss it and start a fresh one.

vaping the same or similar flavor over and over will make you not taste it. I alternate 2 contrasting flavors. one very sweet and one smoky and not sweet. Each refreshes my taste fo the other.

You're still new to the experience, as I am, so maybe you're trying to change to "flavors" too soon. Check out Smoke for Penny's and see if something catches your attention. It's the only e-juice I've used and just placed a huge order last night. Taste has not been an issue for me in the slightest. I only had to play around with the pg/vg ratio to find my vape.

Menthol - For smooth menthol I like Backwoods Brew Strong Menthol. For strong menthol I like Dekang Menthol and Moondrops.
I just bought some menthol drops from Nite Lite, but have not tried them yet.

Smoke for Penny's is small, relatively new, and local for me, but I've got to say . . . super, super. I have three co-workers as well as myself who use this vendor exclusively (at least for juice, I ventured out for hardware, the others haven't) and we've all been very pleased with the assortment, the "brands", personal service, and quick delivery. Don't go crazy buying juice when you first start. Your tastes change. Most new people want a lot of flavor because they're taste buds are still dead from cigarettes.

Find a juice that you can live with until your off cigs for awhile and your taste buds change. If you go on a quest to find a juice you're going to fall in love with, you're going to end up with a big table of juice you vape once and hate.

Even an 'OK' juice, you'll get use to it. No juice is going to vape the way it sounds or the way it tastes if you eat something. You're never going to feel like you're eating a chocolate brownie because that's what your juice is called.

i'm sorry that so much tastes awful to you atm. what did you smoke before? tonight, i'm trying out dfwvapors camel and i'm really enjoying it---but then, i was a camel smoker for 30 years. i also had a taste of Dulce De Leche that someonehad fromsweet-vapors and i have to say, it was amazingly delicious. i'm still new and on the hunt for flavors that will knock my socks off. how about joining the pay it forward group and offer up a portion of what you don't like and snag some new flavors to try out in the process? [if your bottles are big enough, maybe save a small sampling of each that you don't like at this time, to try out later].

Also I did not mention - the following can mess up tasting eliquid vapor - hot drinks, alcohol, food or beverage tastes in your mouth, other aromas in the air

If you are getting any burnt/singed taste (like from not keeping atomizer or cartomizer damp enough) singe/burnt is bitter and will erase sweetness

And important - Some new vapers NEED tobacco flavors and food flavors leave them with a cigarette craving as if they had just eaten. Some other new vapers do best staying away from tobacco flavors which remind them of cigarettes and just vaping food flavors. And some can be satisifed with any type of flavor immediately. You need to figure out which you are. I cannot vape tobacco flavors in my fiance's car or in my office so I use V4L WOWbacco juice which just smells like cocoa to me but since most popular US cigs have cocoa in them (like Marlboro, Pall mall, Parliament and others) the cocoa aroma is close enough.

Jeeezzzz...swedishfish, I can think of only two words for that:LUC KEE!

I started with a 10 bottle sample of 'regurgitated esscence of ewwwww'. GAGGERS!!! Not ONE good juice in the batch! I almost gave up cuz it was all so very, very, very, VERY bad. (did I say it was pretty gross?)

Currently, I have 84 bottles in my juice bar, and approximately 25 are UNvapeable 4me. I'm trying a trick I think I got from you - wouldn't bet my life on it...might have been dormouse? - of adding a touch of menthol or clove to several of the UNvapeables. It def improved the flavors of some, but I'm letting them all steep a bit. We'll see how it goes.

I haven't found a single juice I prefer exclusively as an 'all day' vape, but for the juice I LIKE, I DO enjoy rotating flavors, and usually do two or three flavors per day.

I'm really HAPPY (and extremely jealous ) that you found a great flav from the beginning. (Nuport??)

Now if I was a smart person, I'd have considered myself ahead of the game. But nooooo! Even though I liked my juice, I thought I had to buy every juice someone mentioned. I couldn't be content. I could have bought myself a Reo. Instead I have a table full of crap juice.

My sister only vapes Vapor Station Tampa. First and only juice. (She doesn't post here so she doesn't get tempted). My mom only vapes BWB Casablanca.

Think about all the different selections of smokes that are available. But smokers usually find one brand and pretty much stick with it. I get why there are so many flavors of eJuice - they do it because they can. But, I'm not sure anyone has to like even 10% of the different ones that are out there. And, that would mean 90% the choices suck to each individual. I've been vaping 2 weeks now without a single analogus-interuptus, and that has been with menthol flavor only. I just ordered some sampler (4.5ml bottles) flavors. Cafe Coffee, Minnesota Menthol & Blueberry - tossed in the flavors to see if I liked them. Mainly wanted to try a different companies menthol and this company came highly recommend.

We are getting our nicotine fix, throat hit and tactile needs met with vaping. Never did death sticks offer us flavors. LOL!

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying we shouldn't be enjoying the flavor option, maybe just not expect to find that we like even hal of them. Or something....I'm rambling....but you get my point.

Hey guys i started vaping a few weeks ago and thanks to that ive been cigarette free for 2 weeks now but i have a major problem with my liquids. I have tried Apple Daple from VaperTalk store, Peach,Pear,Strawberry,Watermelon, Cherry and from Chitown Vapors and Ry4, Cuban Cigar and Mr. Pepper from Madvapes. Besides peach and apple dapple, all the other juices tasted so bad to me i almost threw up. I know everyone's tastebuds are different but im having a real big problem finding something that doesnt make me sick.

Any help would be GREAT, because i would rather smoke a cigarette than try and vape these liquids all day trying to adapt to the taste.

I've given almost all my juice away except a few. Now I DIY and just order my nuport juice.

Everyone has different tastes. Some of the juices that rate best of the year I can't stand! When I find one I like I keep it, the others I give to someone else to try. I love the drink flavored and the fruit flavored. Copper Creek has an amazing peach, and passion fruit. The great thing is you can look at what you think you might like and order samples. Then if you don't like them, you havent spent so much money.

I am not a clove or menthol person. I mix some unvapables that just need a bit of help with a sweet vanilla juice (WOW Vanilla since it's clean in cartos) or a good plain tobacco juice or any plain basic juice you like would work. The sweet vanilla is great for helping too-medicinal fruit flavors.

i think i will start a little diy tommorrow. Already planned out getting some menthol crystals from walgreens, some lorann flavoring from hobby lobby and vg from Wal-mart. Hopefully this will hold me over till i can find something that i like. I feel like i can do without nicotine as i wasnt a heavy smoker to begin with.
