It has been stated before that ECF doesn't have that level of control over what ads are specifically displayed on the site. When an offending ad does get through, they can block that one but it won't prevent a future one from getting through.
I figured ecf approved this ad because it's for tobacco, right?

i couldnt find the Atom or any "dry herb" vaporizer on there site, what comes up are not dry herb units

However the ad does say "dry HERB ..." not "dry tobacco" so I am doubtful it is for tobacco use. I could be wrong.
well, most of those devices arent mean for tobacco use, they are for cannabis use, most of them are develop for medical use,

Yes they paid but NOT directly to ECF. ECF does not directly sell ads. They use an ad service, specifically adroll.com to provide the ads and then ECF makes a commission based on views/impressions and/or clicks.
This device is specifically described as "dry herb" and elsewhere is listed as a direct competitor to the PAX which is also a "dry herb" device. The company, VaporFi, does also make eliquid vaporizers, but this is NOT one of them.

totally understand and my point was that people are missing out these things are great with ejuice dont know this vape mod bit it's been posted all the time elseware these things are good tasting with ejuice with the old wick strings rolled round the chamber
to not being able to talk about these things is like not being able to talk about a weighing system or a glass because it could be used for something else,, makes no sence

If anyone coming here for the first time and sees these ads from VaporFi, Vape Moar or Atomic Dog, might be a little confused when they are told they are not allowed to ask about the function of these products. I make these posts partly in jest, but I'm also compelled to point out the double standard that is set by allowing these ads on this site. Not that I want that type of discussion here, I can go over to the other forum to do that.
What will end up happening is this thread will be locked by the end of the day. I will be scolded and told I should know better to bring this up and this ad will continue to run until the end of the month.
I understand the point your making, but all ECF can do is to request the ad company remove each offending ad as we come across them, and at some point policing the ads gets time consuming...
I've been on political forums where ad policing was requested because someone was constantly offended and no matter where the requests for ad policing occur the answer is always the same, it's too time consuming.
This forum says no drug talk, while the rest of the world sees no difference between what we do and smoking the funny stuff since the devices have similarities...
I guess we live with that result, which is seeing the occasional ad for the funny stuff.
Me personally? I don't have a problem with that.. I like than an attempt is being made at a clear delineation between vaping to stop smoking and doing drugs here, even if we still see the occasional ad.

These ads have not appeared here up until this year, and there seems to be a different one each month now. Good point regarding the similarities, though. In the future, I envision a sign on the door of the shop I have to get supplies that says "Discussion of tobacco will not be tolerated ".
