Okay cool, ya that deffinaitly makes me feel a bit safer having that extra leeway.

So what is this I hear people talking about when instead of holding the firing button down they click it iver and over really fast, what is the purpose of vaping this way and what is that called?

I'm guessing this is for extreme sub ohm builds where if they held the button down the coils would glow red and it would start to burn... Never saw the point of it, always figured it's basically regulating the voltage (that's how VV/VW mods work, extremely fast pulses to the coil) and if I wanted the coils to receive less wattage then I'd build a higher resistance coil... But I'm no expert at these things so maybe there's a benefit.

From http://web.mit.edu/evt/summary_battery_specifications.pdf

Maximum Continuous Discharge Current – The maximum current at which the battery can be discharged continuously. This limit is usually defined by the battery manufacturer in order to prevent excessive discharge rates that would damage the battery or reduce its capacity. Along with the maximum continuous power of the motor, this defines the top sustainable speed and acceleration of the vehicle.
• Maximum 30-sec Discharge Pulse Current –The maximum current at which the battery can be discharged for pulses of up to 30 seconds. This limit is usually defined by the battery manufacturer in order to prevent excessive discharge rates that would damage the battery or reduce its capacity. Along with the peak power of the electric motor, this defines the acceleration performance (0-60 mph time) of the vehicle

That is pulsing, it was usually done when using unoxidized SS mesh in a Genisis style atty in order to oxidize the mesh where the coils touched in order to prevent shorting.

It's not a method of vaping but of setting up the wick.

Okay cool, thanks B2L you have bee a life saver for me here on this forum so far, everyone one here has been really helpful I aprecaite you all helping better understand this side of this amazingly fun hobby, I wana learn as much as I possibly can as fast as possible w.o. doing somthing thats guna put myself in harms way.

I think its is good for me to slow down a bit with doing the physical part of it and do a lot more reading on video watching before I starting getting into this too deep to quick.
