Not getting any huge clouds from my mech mod & rda?

1 drag every minute of 6mg is about the same as 1 drag every 5mins of 36mg. So it's not like im getting much more nic,
Just because it's sub ohm does not mean I take monster hits all the time. I can take alot of short small hits when i'm chilling or a larger hit when I don't want to chain vape. Only time I ever too a monster hit was when I was showing off and then I was good for like 15mins.
Not once have I felt nauseated like when I was chain vaping 24mg with a normal setup.

I'm not allowed to say that that is a stupid thing to say.... But common. Just BC you prefer lower nic doesn't mean everyone does. It's pretty hard to die from nicotine, about as hard as it is to die from caffeine. Common now. ..
Even still if the OP is trying to get clouds it will be harder when there is a higher nic level because of the throat hit it is going to produce. Does he want to get clouds? or does he want to catch a nic buzz? Hard to accomplish both without sacrificing one or the other.
i went down to 6mg when i started sub ohming but ive gradually crept back up to 12mg but mostly use 9mg & lately 0.18-0.2Ω, its very satisfying being able to go 5-10mins without the urge to vape again after a couple of toot's, or i could alternate between a couple of mods and get myself a whitey but they dont feel to good, the funniest thing is watching people that smoke strong cig's try my mod, they can never handle it 
i just wanta say to the other guy that vapes high mg on subohm builds like me, you are very smart
And goodluck to the OP with your cloud chasing, firstly 50/50 juice wont cut it, i hear you say your getting better juice so thats good.
Rayon will get you bigger clouds cus it will wick juice to the coil as your vapourizing it, failing that use ordinary cotton.
increasing your coil id will allow you to vaporize more juice as you will be able to take longer hits, i use 7/64 with 0.2Ω coils so adjust yours accordingly to your ohms.
Unless you go super sub ohm i would keep some sort of gap under your coil for airflow, even if just a couple of mm.
Get your coil/s right into the face, level with you air intake and as close as possible without shorting so make sure you check for shorts when doing this( i will post a pic to show you how close i go), or also try drawing an imaginary line from where your airhole is and the bottom of your DT and get your coil in that line but close to the air intake, if that makes sense, i hope so.
Also, when you saturate your wick with juice you could say that its flooded becouse as the wick starts to dry you will notice the plumes getting thicker, so also worth a note. but as you go super sub ohm this becomes less of an issue.
open or spaced wraps on a coil will get you greater wick coverage and allow you to heat more juice.
i go this close with coil...
but mainly use open/spaced wraps like this...

Hey, the first picture of the close up of the dual coil set-up that you made (man I wish I could make those kind of awesome coils) what gauge is that wire and what was the ohms final ohms?
24mg of nicotine doesn't bother me but it's right you can't suck in the vapor using 24mg nic cause it starts killing my throat so I cut down to 18mg. I changed my coils and wick last night. I put in dual coils again, used my green wick and used 12mg of DripTonic (pur vg, America Pie, 12mg) but I'm still not getting huge clouds..... grrrr. I don't know what else to do.... Hey Slippy Ell, if I send you some wire can I pay you to make me some nice could? PM if you are interested....? ;-)
But yeah, I'm still using 18mg - 12mg of nic, it's enjoyable and doesn't bother me at all.

Not really hard, do you purchase your own Nic? Have you read the warning?

I constantly have juice on me in multiple areas hands, lips, etc. Their had been reports of one guy dying from nic od. ..he injected it , so lot of it , and our want the only thing in his system. Maybe if you drink a bunch of straight nic base and try not to puke but with mixed juice I know it's a health issue but nobody is dying from vaping high nic ....give it a rest ...back on topic.
Clouds take good building skills which takes alot of practice, so imo having someone make them for you defeats this notion. Have patients my friend and watch loads of videos and eventually you will get what your looking for. One thing i would do is get rid of that mop wick and get some rayon or ... cotton. Don't twist and don't use a ton like your doing now. Coil position is also key, think in 3 dimensions, not only is it optimal for the coil to be in front of airhole (one dimension) there is 2 more dimensions you need to think about as well. A second would be distance to airhole and height in relation to airhole. Stick in there buddy
I made some more coils and got then right in front of the air holes and kept the wick out from under the coil and it's getting better. I'm slowly getting bigger clouds. I bought those coils just to give them a try and have a kick .... coil that I can examine and work on copying it. I'm keep trying, I just received a Tugboat RDA it's got a huge juice well so I'm going to give it a try this weekend.

the tug is supposed to be a pretty good rda, good luckI made some more coils and got then right in front of the air holes and kept the wick out from under the coil and it's getting better. I'm slowly getting bigger clouds. I bought those coils just to give them a try and have a kick .... coil that I can examine and work on copying it. I'm keep trying, I just received a Tugboat RDA it's got a huge juice well so I'm going to give it a try this weekend.

its 24g, 0.25 ohm, 1/16th id. but 26 or 28g is fine, there are far more important variables than how tidy a coil is, gauge of wire used depends on what ohms you need, i dont know what ohms you use but if you use 20, 22 or 24 gauge at say 0.4ohm + it will be slow to heat up and not worth the effort.
You should make your own coils, get som drill bits 1/16th to 1/8th and get a set of pin-vises that will hold those size, i bought a set of four vises from ebay that hold any size i need and will get you tight coils with a little practice

What he said ^^^^^ Buying coils is wack! 24-28ga wire depending on your ohms. I prefer 24ga. For 0.4 ohms, nice big coils.
Hey guys, I am sure this has been asked before but I'm wanting to get a high end mechanical mod but I want one that will fire by pushing the bottom end firing button up and down. I don't want one where you have to push the firing button up inside the outer part of the mod. Can y'all suggest a few? Silver or black... no brass please. ... Your saying you don't want a recessed button? Look at a glass or an mcr 101 those are the hot ticket in my opinion rift now, if you want a recessed button then the bcv , is the best mod on the market. Bcv makes the XXIX, it's the best as far as performance goes.
I have a all Copper 'Manhattan' that has a really nice button on it and hits hard, when you put the mod down you sit it on the fire button which has really powerfull magnets, stopping the mod from firing.
I like this style of button, its such a big shame my stingray button isnt like this. If say you have to rush to put your Manhattan down you dont get any firing or have to adjust a ring.
Another one i really wanna get that i like the look of is the '4nine', it has two gaps on the bottom of the mod so you can push the button, infact i think im gonna go order a fat Copper '4Nine' right now
