New to mech mods need help

I have a sigelei Telescope 8D with a Rsst smok. I just changed the cotton but not the coil. coil was reading at .08hms Unless i keep priming the cotton with juice all i get is a burnt taste. again i am new so need simple answer help.

A bit more information would have been great. There are a few different ways to use cotton in a RSST RBA. I'm also going to assume you meant 0.8 ohms, not 0.08 ohms. 0.8 ohms is just fine. For safety you should be using a IMR or hybrid lithium ion battery in the mod. ICR lithium ion is bad news as those are the ones that vent violently when they are mistreated.

If you are setting up the RSST like this you will have to tilt the mod to get juice to the coil.

You probably know this but just in case, every time you change the cotton wick, dry burn the coil. It gets pretty gunked up with burnt on juice residue.
