I have been vaping for 6 months now before that I was a menthol smoker for 25 years up until now I've only been vaping menthol and tobacco flavors(usually mixed for more cig like taste). I'm wondering if anyone has been on similar journey and what a good first not cig flavor would be for me? Like fruits or desserts? Or anything other than tobacco/menthol I would enjoy?

Everyone's taste is so different, it would be hard to know what you'd like. I'd suggest, if you have a vape shop locally...go in and try a bunch of their e-liquids. You could at least narrow down if you even like the sweetness factor in some of the most commonly made fruity flavors or dessert flavors. Some people don't.

I will add though that I have 3 people I've helped to switch over to vaping who used to be menthol smokers. All have liked the Vanilla Bean flavor I've used for 2 years, and 2 of the 3 also really liked the NannerBerry (strawberry/banana) flavor I love as well. So, you may find similar likes as well by trying various liquids at a shop.

I started with non tobaccos with one clearomizer out of several using a great flavor I found after much tasting at vape shop, as lond as I also had tobaccos. With a dripper I sometimes use non-tobaccos but don't like tobaccos solo in it much. Mainly I like tobacco and non- mixes or a constant oscillation between... a main flavor with tobacco giving complexity and intensity. Some impressive examples of tobacco combinations are Charlie Noble Soller's Pointe (Banana with caramel and tobacco) and I95's Puffcake, Emperor's Promise and Happy Endings. Also check out Coval Vapes. I also do DIY blends with tobaccos, such as with apple, caramel, kiwi etc. Currently vaping 555 Custard.

Light menthol also blends with almost anything: chocolate, fruits, etc.

Thanks everyone Makes sense that vanilla keeps popping up a lot of the tobacco flavors I like I noticed have vanilla in the ingrediants so I am def gonna give it a try. I have done some taste testing at my local shops but I find it very hard to judge cause the samples are always 0mg so I can never really judge cause it's so airy to me as I'm a 24mg guy that's why I reached out on here so thanks again for all the recommendations
