It don't matter which end of the heart surgery he was involved with (patient or dr/nurse/anesthesiologist)... Man deserves a steak....then again, in either case, probably too tired to enjoy it.
Whatevs....he's eating pizza like a boss. Besides, they get gormet shizzah delivered for lunch. I had cheese and crackers. hmph
If he wants a steak, he can order one or tell me to buy one. We have an Outback down the street and we have steak every week. So, he's not suffering. We went there last night in fact.

Plus, I'm pretty sure the patient is on TPN (for non medical people...that's IV nutrician). I don't think he or she is allowed steak in CVICU.
