Hey ecf,
I'm going for a year and now I'm into use rta, but before I purchase one I need to choose wisely because I can only afford one and it must be good. Here is the first question, dual or single coil rta? I like dense cloudy vapor but I will use it all day long and sometimes it can be a problem in public. 2nd is top, side or bottom airflow? I LOVE flavour. And finally which to buy. There is too many options and it must be easy to build since I'm new. Thank you.

71.jpg 72.jpg 73.jpg Hi and welcome.

I don't where you are located so this may not help, other than perhaps in giving you general ideas.

This Vaping Outlaws Kit was on special back on the UK and could be got for £25.00 over the Winter. The Kit came with a solidly built tube mech mod and and equally solid well built RDA - the outfit is their "Enforcer."

The deck is easy to build on, has plenty of room and will accomodate single or double coils. The juice well is deep and the airflow is beautifully machined and is adjusted by turning the top of the atomiser. With a higher vg juice and the airflow fully open even with a 1 Ohm coil this thing can produce clouds if you want them and with it half closed offers a good ordinary volume of vape.

The atomiser has a standard 510 connection with a protruding pin so it can be used safely either with its own mech tube or on a regulated mod.

I have no connection with the Vaping Outlaws company other than that I am a satisfied customer, who went back and bought a spare outfit as I liked it so much.

I hope this info at least might help you narrow down what you are looking for.

Are you interested for a device too or only for RTA?

@greek mule - I did say - "The atomiser has a standard 510 connection with a protruding pin so it can be used safely either with its own mech tube or on a regulated mod."

Sorry if I didn't make this clear ( my bad, but I thought I had ) I mainly discussed the broad type of RBA that might suit his requirements, given the title of the thread ( although on re -reading I see he is after an RTA ). I also mentioned a single coil of 1 ohm which is well within any reasonable safety limits.

Two of my pictures do show the RBA on a regulated mod - an iStick 30w which will not fire if there is anything agley, such as a short circuit or an impossibly low build.

I did also note that the OP had been vaping for a year.

Having been taken to task and given a right sound wigging - I'll go and stand in the Naughty Corner behind the Blackboard!

I still like you BTW!

Single coils will give less cloud, but use less power. So that’ll depend on what mod you use. I put dual coils on single battery mods, but I’m home all day and can swap out batteries as needed.

Duals need the coils to be identical, although there are some that need to be wound mirror image, I don’t have any like that, but they do need to be the same resistance. Something to consider. Plus you’ll use twice the wire, wick and often juice.

Top air is a lot less likely to leak. Bottom air gives better flavor.

I could recommend what I like in any of those categories if you can narrow down your preference, but right now my most favorite is the OFRF Gear. Single coil bottom air, easy to build, crazy good flavor.

Hi cerboz. Welcome to the ECF.

It is Very Hard to say what RBA you might like? But perhaps if you Posted what Atomizers you are currently using, and the Type of Coil(s) that you Like, it would help to Narrow things Down.

I'm a Flavor Chaser. And prefer Single Coil setups over Dual Coils. So when I look at an RBA, here are some of the things I look for...

A Small Chamber Size.
A 22 Diameter. Maybe a 23 or 24mm if the Chamber is Reduced.
A Short OAL.
A 510 Drip Tip verses an 801 Tip.
Side Airflow more on the Restrictive Side.

To me, Clouds vs Flavor are kind inverses of Each Other. So to get More Flavor, I need to give up Cloud Size. And Visa Versa.

I'm vaping about 1.5 years but I don't have that like experiences because it is illegal to sell vape products (using is legal lol) so that I need to buy in black market and I used al85 and tvf8 baby tank with it for about 1 year, I tried dual rba coil with it but it was pain in the was. Then start using a clon Goon 510 rda after that revenger and nrg tank. Now I'm using goon on revenger and wrap my coils with Clapton wire 5 turns spaced.

That's all I can say about my preferences :D
