hello every body
i started to vape since 3 weeks now so i brought a vamo V5 with a iclear 30 but i hates this clearomizer very much because of the burning taste of these stupid wicks so i brought a rda magma v1
it works very fine for me the taste is amazing and the amount of vapor is very good but i have a question: what is the best length of the cotton wick inside the coil
and for information i am using kanthal a1 28g maybe 10 rounds to get 2ohm.

Wicking is probably one of the hardest things to master.
The main school of thought is that that the ends of the wick should be just touching the bottom of the juice well. Filling up the well with wicking increases that amount of juice held and therefore the time between drips, but does not produce so much vapor (subjective). Depending on the atty I use either, or a combination of both techniques.
The tension of the wick in the coil needs to be firm, but not to tight. Again this subjective but with practice you will find what is right for you. I have seen videos that suggest that with very hot sub-ohm builds, its a good idea to make the wicking tighter to compensate for the denaturing effect of high temperatures on the cotton causing it to shrink.
