It seems as if every couple hits I'm getting a burnt taste. I just replaced the cotton and I don't know what I could have done wrong. I'm running a Mutation v2 on a IPV3 and using it around 40-50 watts and after a couple hits, I get burnt taste. I have a dual coil build right now. I have cotton running through both coils on both sides. anyone know what may be wrong?

If you post a pic of your coils and some more info such as wire thickness, coil diameter and ohm load, someone could get you some relevant advice. Maybe too much cotton in the coil, that's one way to get dry hits.

Probable causes include too much wick, or not enough air, so it "chokes," - but yes, please post a photo and people will be glad to diagnose your setup! If that's not possible, at least describe the wicking, coil placement, airflow - and what's the resistance of your dual?

ok, so how many hits should i be getting before I need to drip more juice on? usually running between 40-60
Try just having your wick tails touching the deck. You'll get more juice in there. But, yes, with a 0.2 ohm build, only 4-5 hits.
Im considering getting an arctic tank to run on this, Im not a big fan of drippers tbh haha, would it produce just as much as the dripper?
just because the ipv3 can handle .2 doesnt mean its a nice vape. On my mechs i will build that low but a regulated device no way heats up so much faster especially that low and just isnt pleasant. Why not try a .8 coil at that wattage IMO it is so much better flavor wise and cloud wise since you can take longer drags.
Arctic tanks coils taste nasty until 2 or 3 have been through them, this isnt exclusive to the Arctic other sub tanks have the problem to me.
Also low ohms means nothing on your box. Low ohms are for mmechs and just because you have a .2 rda or tank doesnt mean you are going to be producing massive clouds. This is something new vapors.need to realise especially when you are able to start on 100w+ mods.
