New to Rebuildables

Hi All,

I am new to rebuildables, but have been vaping off/on for a couple years. Started out with the cig style which are crap. But it did help me to get off smoking after 18 years. I still dipped though, and in the last year I wanted to quit dipping so I turned to vaping again. I have had a couple different set ups, but just got my first RTA which was the Kayfun V4 clone. I have a few issues, but I am sure I can get them worked out. Definitely a lot cheaper than buying coils!

Welcome! :)

Rebuildables can certainly be a lot cheaper than buying disposable products, plus there's the flexibility to consider (being able to tailor your vape just the way you like it). Most of them are pretty easy, too, once you get past the learning curve. There are a lot of members around who can offer pointers on just about any RBA around here, so ask away when you have any questions.

Hope you get your few issues sorted out and head on your way to vape nirvana :vapor:

Hi and welcome to ECF!

Glad to see you've made the switch. Please be a bit safe in rebuilding.
Here is some information that may help you in that:
For info on batteries Baditude has several excellent blog posts on the subject. His blogs on battery safety are a must read before you venture into the world of sub-ohm vaping.

Reliable sources for batteries:
Batteries-Chargers-Flashlights-Only The Best
Authentic AW Batteries - RTD Vapor
Illumn.com - Flashlights, Batteries, Carry Gear, Intelligent LED Lighting, and More!

Do not buy batteries from eBay or Amazon. Some of their third party sellers sell fakes.

May not be necessary if you are using regulated mods, as some of the safety is built into those, but if you sre looking into unregulated mods, then it's really good to understand all the safe ways to go about it.

Hope it helps and Happy Vaping!

Kay fun Lite or 3.1 clones were known to be hit-or-miss, and they've had quite a while to perfect those.

The v4 is very new, the clones even newer. Not to mention, I hear it's a significantly more complicated device. I haven't stayed up to speed on whether any of the clones have been any good yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's the atomizer, not you :)

Perhaps this thread could be of use? http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...r-systems/634516-attack-kayfun-v4-clones.html
