Just thought to introduce myself here and say hi to all the veterans, have been going through this part of the forum for a day after buying Reo mini from the classifieds. Have been a smoker for the last 15 years till the time I found vaping. I am only in my 2nd month of vaping, and have got Vamo V5, Nemesis Clone, Provari and now a Reo. Provari was a disappointment but I already knew that a minute after swiping my card and giving it a second thought, :p. Now Since I am only starting my vaping journey my mindset is that I can spend on the mod but get skimpy on the Atomisers, though I have already horded a fair few in my short stint, Aerotank, Nautilus, Kayfun Clone, iClear 30s, 30b etc etc....

So coming back to my question, I am not in the mindset to spend on RM2 specially since I will have to spend more to get it shipped to India. Have been looking at the A7 (infact bought it from FT) but I realise it has some major issues. So can someone suggest a good, cheap and reliable RBA, I know these are not mutually inclusive term but WTH. Also a link to buy would simply be superb.

Make sure whatever RBA you get is a bottom feeder. Rm2 and Igo s are the ones Rob sells on the site I like the RM2 better but both are very good. I don't know if you are handy with, tools you can also turn other RBAs into bottom feeders. I would go to the site and buy a few rm2s because you don't know it yet but you'll be buying more Reos. If you have any questions or problems with your Reo ask about it here and we all will be happy to help you out.

Congrats on the Mini! Welcome!

From the reading I've done, the later A7's were OK, the issue with the early ones was that the center pin of the 510 would short out against the atty. However I have no first hand experience with the A7. There are some good cheap atties from FT if you have the mechanical ability to mod them for bottom feed, and access to a dremel or a small drill press. I can point you to a few posts here on modding an atty for bottom feed if you feel mechanically inclined. For bottom feed atties all ready to go, I think the cheapest is the Igo-bf on Reosmods.com, which has good performance, it is great value.

Thanks Raynman & Ian444, TBH I am not good with mechanical tools, I do not have the patience for proper markings, getting the right drill bit etc, and hence whenever I have gone ahead with my drill, I always make a mess of it. Not much difference between the Igo-bf and rm2, guess will go with rm2 only. Btw have never used a dripper, so maybe this question might sound stupid, but how is the draw on rm2? Is it airy?, in my short experience I prefer airy draws....

It would be a good choice to get an RM2. The Reo with RM2 is just a great combination, they work really well together. The stock air hole is 3/64" (1.2mm). The cap is brass so is easy to drill if you need to go larger. I have read that for single coils above say 1.4 or 1.5 ohms, the stock air hole works fine for many users.

Thats a good question, I haven't used the clearo's you mentioned but guessing the RM2 would be on the airy side of most clearos. Maybe someone else can answer that. Most of the good citizens of the USA are asleep right now but they will be getting up soon.

If you order an atty from Reos mods you should also order some springs from roesmods as well since you are in India. You'll need extra spring(s) if you should short out your mod.

Thanks a lot for the tip. Will add the spring and spring screw to my cart.

Thanks Ian for clearing that out....

Also put some 30 gauge and 28 gauge kanthal wire in your cart if you don't have any and its not too late.

What is the object in your avatar? I keep staring at it but can't work out what it is? It looks interesting whatever it is.

I do have 28 gauge kanthal, :D

Ah, thats a copper pot for CPU covered with ice. Its from my other hobby, computer overclocking, you put the Pot on top of your CPU, pour some Liquid Nitrogen in it, and wham! you can run your computer at 6/7/8 Ghz, much higher than the stock clocks.
