New to site / atomizer questions

Ok, I'm new to this site and apparently have to post in this forum,
I have a question regarding atomizers.

I have a BluCig kit that I use, it came with 2batts and 2atomizers.
One of the atomizers doesn't work, I sent it back, they sent me another
one that didn't work, I sent it back and yep they again sent me one that
does not work.

I plan on continuing to send it back to Blu until they provide me with one
that works correctly but in the meantime I'd like to find out what other atomizers
I can use with my Blu batteries and cartridges.

I've heard talk about 510 and 306's but when I looked at a site that sells them
there was mention of "high resistance" and "low resistance" atomizers and I have no
idea what kind I need.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Low resistance Atomizers are designed to let the atomizer hotter, think of pushing a person to the ground, the person that resists you less will fall to the ground easier, and fall farther.:blink: Thus getting more angry (hotter), and produce more vapor... Low resistance Atomizers are designed away from Original specs, so typically have NO warranty, and tend to burn out faster.

Hope my jacked up analogy helped...

Welcome to the forum!

There are some here that use the Blu, though many feel it's not the best model. Honestly I'm not sure what type of atty works with it. You may need to do a few forum searchs to find out.

Can tell you that LR attys will only work with batteries having a mAh rating over a certain amount (300 mAh I think?). HV attys are made for use at higher voltages. Neither are applicable to the Blu's battery to the best of my knowledge.

Yeah I'm hoping to hear from other Blu users that have successfully used
"other" atomizers so I know for sure what kind I can buy and where from.

It's very frustrating that Blu sent me 3 bad ones in a row, I'll be taking that
up with them via a phone call later in the week, for now I just want to find
an alternative atty.

I have a post on a blucigforum looking for the same info hopefully between there and here I'll get my answer.

Thanks.

I was using Blu batteries and 510 (Joye, regular, not low resistance or high voltage, just regular joye 510 or similar) atomizers for quite a while and it works fairly well, the only thing you'll notice is that the 510 atomizer is larger than the blu battery, even though it fits, so it will look a bit strange and it will not fit in your Blu charging case. It's also worth mentioning that you'll probably need some additional cartridges because Blu carts will not work. I just refill my 510 carts so that works fine for me. The sad thing about the blu batteries is that they only hold a charge for 2-4 hours (i'm a heavy vaper) so I would be swapping the two I had out constantly throughout the day. Thats why I finally just bought a big battery PV (dse 905)

According to some posts in the..., the Blu is compatible with..., and may be another source for... and other parts. You should, of course, research this yourself and ask the vendor questions before purchasing.

Thanks for the links to those other subforums, new to this site and hadn't
found them yet, well plus I can only post here as of right now.

Thanks, that helps abit. I'm really looking for a replacement to the blu atty that
will still allow me to use the blu carts though.

Hey you know, looking at the volcano link you provided, their atty looks exactly like my one good working one, I think I may have found what I'm after! My bad atty looks a little different then the one I have that works, if the forum would let me post pics I'd show you a picture of the two side by side, but alas, newbie rules are in effect

I use a Volcano and personally think the Volcano atty is a bit better than the Blu. I have both and honestly haven't had problems with either one but the Volcano has a taller bridge and seems to wick a little better. I've also used 510 attys on the Blu/Volcano batteries and it works ok.

Something else that will help with your Blu experience is to mod the carts. I use MarineLand Rite Size U blue foam. Cut a piece 1/4 x 1/4 x 3/4 and put that in the inner cart instead of the stock polyfill. Wicks better and holds more juice and is much more consistant.

I'm happy with the way it works and the quality of it just fine with out modification, I've just got a bum second atty.
I ordered a set of the volcano ones.
