I want to try it out on ss316 0.5 coils @25watts what is the proper temp range for this?

Thank you
The temperature range doesn't depend on the wire material or the resistance. I'd suggest somewhere between 380-450℉. Start low and work your way up until you're satisfied. Set the wattage so that you reach the set temperature fast. The tc will then limit the power so that the temperature isn't exceeded.

That sir, in a nutshell, is the essence and the simplicity of TC vaping. Beautifully put!!

I learned when I started with temp control to not give up right away. It was frustrating for me at first but I learned quickly how to use tc. I like it now and use tc about 80% of the time. When my kanthal is used up I'm replacing it with ss316L. Eventually I'll be switched to tc completely.

Depending on what coils you are using will determine what temperature and wattage as I have found there is no one answer fit all. I run an SS316L coil in my Melo RT22 at 100 Watts and 360°F and on the Grffin 25 Plus 65 watts and maybe 420°F where with the Pangu tank SS316L coils at 75W and 360 to 460°F.

I found it far easier if I disregarded what the actual temp is set to and simply adjust it to the warmth that I like at that time. Some juices taste better at lower temps and some at higher temps. Some tanks perform better at lower temps and some at higher temps. As long as the end product is satisfying dont worry about the numbers.
