You have to be really careful with the ATC coil. One of the coil legs is soldered to
a very fine 1.5cm sliver of covered copper wire that has contact with the
inner/bottom section of the coil. Pull or twist on the bottom exterior section of the
coil and you've got problems.
I checked the coil and the wire was intact. I did notice that juice also leaked through the coil, down the center and it would pool in the bottom hardware.

That would probably explain the tank leakage I experienced with the ATC coil installed
when angled horizontally. No leakage with the standard coil.

Dissected ATC Coil for anyone interested (Notice the tiny copper grasshopper leg like lead/ground wire)

Since I've stopped using the tank, I have been using the mod in VW mode with my Double Vision RDA and have some comments/complaints about the mod itself.

The biggest PITA is whenever you swap out batteries. Putting fresh batteries into the mod and it automatically reboots, so no need to do the 5-click thing to turn it back on. However, the mod will automatically reset itself to read at the midpoint of 75 watts. This is a pain because then you need to change your wattage back. I'm vaping it at 55 watts so really it only takes a few seconds to change it, but what if you are using it with a ohm+ coil at 11 or 15 watts and you forget to set it? You might instantly fry your coil and get a nasty burnt hit. And if you are using it in TC mode, it automatically resets it to 200 degrees F.

Secondly, about 30-40 percent of the time, when I press the fire button, the mod doesn't fire. I then have to release the fire button and then push it again for it to fire. I think this is happening mostly because the mod is going to sleep and then when you press the fire button it has to wake up and if the button is pressed in while waking up, it doesn't register the press. It will only register the press if the fire button is pressed after it has already woken up.

Anyone ever heard of Vaptio before? With everyone coming out with temp control mods, another TC mod wouldn't necessarily make many ripples, but supposedly it has a temp sensor built into the coil to ensure accurate temperature readings. It sounds a lot like the Innokin TC system that was rumored to be in the works last year. There's a couple of questions/concerns that I have about this type of temp control:

1. With a temp sensor, does this mean that TC only works with their tank?
2. With a temp sensor, does this mean that you're stuck with their coils only? Are they rebuildable?
3. Will it have temp control if you are using a different atomizer that doesn't have their sensor?

According to what I've been able to find, it supports TC with the now standard Ni/Ti/SS316 wire. I'm interested in just how accurate this could be. In my experience, I've had the best/most accurate temp control with Ni wire. With the wide, measurable temperature fluctuations, it has been the most consistent for me. What I don't like about Ni wire is the low resistance, especially when you want to do a dual coil build. Ti is better with the higher inherent resistance, although I haven't had consistent results. On one TC mod that supports Ti (the Cloupor Mini), I've actually had the cotton burst into flames using Ti coils in a RDA. I've also had so-so results from using SS316 for temp control. Since the resistance varies so little with temperature, I find I get a more consistent vape just using SS316 in power mode and not TC mode.

And it looks like Heaven Gifts is gonna be holding a giveaway for the mod and tank combo.

I'm assuming..

1. No, the mod will prob retain the usual TC found in other mods
2. Yes if the sensor is built in their coil heads their ATC function will only work with coil heads that have the sensor
3. There probably won't be a standard sensor in this industry, at least we probably won't see one with where things are going with the FDA.

Over this past weekend, I submitted a list of issues that must be addressed by the manufacturer
to correct before releasing the Vaptio S150 ATC for public sale. The mod and tank have potential,
but some bugs/kinks have to be worked out first.

@jseah If still possible, you may want to add Beta/Test Unit to the title of the thread.

Unfortunately, it is past the edit window, so I can't make any changes.

I just got my Vaptio S150 yesterday, I was lucky and won it on the Heaven Gifts website contest! I started using it today and will post my experience with it once I've had some time to play with it a little more. So far so good, mod seems to be working fine in power mode. I haven't used the tank just yet, even though it came very clean, I clean and soak my tanks before I use them.
