Hello,

I got my EGO Twist kit on Thursday on a friends recommendation and loving it. Relapsed on Saturday and smoked a half pack. I was sick to my stomach and ended up throwing the other half out the window and picked up the EGO. Havent smoked since.

Absolutely stoked about the future not having this monkey on my back.

Currently loving the eGo Stardust V3 with Pall-Mall flavor 30/70. Tried the Kanger T2 but find its a bit harsh on the throat.

Cheers

Congratulations and welcome to the ECF. It sounds like you got some good advice on ordering.

One thing you might want to try on the T2 is to briefly blow into the mouthpiece a couple of times like you were blowing up a balloon. You should see a few bubbles appear in the tank. This is good, because that air in the tank will force liquid onto the wick. Now try vaping it again and see if the burnt taste is any better. It may take awhile to go away completely. Burnt hits are usually the result of dry coils and if the juice you are using is 30PG/70VG, it may not wick well at all in the T2 without a little tinkering.

I'll agree with Renzuli. If searching for a cooler, less harsh vape try one of the bottom fed/coiled clearomizers such as the Evod, Kanger T3-4, or ProTank.

The vapor has a slightly longer distance to travel from the heating coil to the mouthpiece in a bottom-coiled clearomizer, and that short distance is enough to cool the vape to make a difference.

Tried the T3 last night and its super smooth. Thanks for the tips. I am pretty much switching between the vision stardust and the T3.

I am finding the stardust to be a little harsher than the T3 but not as bad as the T2. Does the top draw coil need a different juice to help the wicking. I am using 70/30 right now.

I am also wondering what the advantage is of the stardust V3+ dual coil over the V3 single coil.

8rad - congrats on chucking the coffin nails out the window. I've been vaping now for about 18 months and have not had an analog since I started and I was addicted to analogs for more than 60 years!!

You are taking the same route that I took by going from the T2 to the T3. I have found the T3 to be smoother and more consistent through the day. The only thing that I liked better about the T2 was that it is a top feeder and I always found it easier to refill. My old hands are quite arthritic and I found the T3 a little tougher to fill without getting the juice in the wrong place - so I got a blunt tip syringe that I use to fill the T3.

I don't know if you are aware of it but Kanger just came out with the new model (T3S) which is the same as the original except the coil is replaceable without having to replace the entire base.

I wish you good luck in your vaping experience and even more luck in quitting analogs.
