New to the ECF: HV Bella Tank O-Ring Problem

Hey guys. New to the forum. I had a quick question about the inner o ring of the bella/elegance tanks.

I got the snug fit o-rings because the regular o-rings kept draining my tank but its so hard to get the carto through without ripping the o-ring.

Any tips on how to fix that?
