Hey guys first post and hoping to become a regular in this forum. I've been smoking for 8 years since my Navy days and want to quit the habit. I bought a pro smoke e cig 3 years ago but it didn't do it for me. If I'm going to spend my money what would you recommend I buy. I don't have a budget but i also don't want to spend a crazy amount. So what set up do you guys recommend?

My first one was an 900mah ego with a ce4 clearomizer($65 kit comes with charger and 2 clearomizers). And that did the trick for sure, to get me to quit smoking. But once I started getting into the hobby of vaping, my first mod was a Vamo($60 plus $8 for a battery, plus $15 for a battery charger) with a carto tank($10-$20). And I actually still use that setup today. So it just depends if you wanna start out with an okay setup to get you started or if you want to just dive right in and go for a higher end setup. But this forum definitely helped me out when I first started! Good luck!

Welcome Lo02 to ECF,
And congrats on making the switch,
Saw this starter kit:
http://www.myvaporstore.com/Vision_Spinner_Joye_Ego_C_Twist_Combo_p/vvs-c.htm
from one of the forum suppliers. You looking at a local store front or web sites?
The kit above is similar to the one my better half and I started with. She has all but forgotten the analogs, and wants me to throw out the 2 month old, half pack I still hang on to.

I would suggest an ego. Don't buy the starter kit though you can get a ego-c 900 mah battery for 20$ a charger for 3$ and a pack of cartomizers for $10 at litecigusa.net. That should last you most of the day mine lasts about 12-14 hours without a charge. Juice I normally buy from vaporrenu.com good luck to your future vaping endeavors.

I have a halo triton. And i absolutely love it. Shipping was fast too. Im new as well. I started with white cloud, ewww, and even tried south beach smoke, better but eww, got the halp g6, not bad but not really enough, and now i have the triton. Got my first kit 2 weeks ago. And wasnt happy and just kept reading reviews and buying. If i had it to do over i would just getthe triton. I really like their ejuices so far, but from what i understand their are cheaper ones around.

I just got my first kit in the mail 5 days ago.

Based on the recommendations I got reading this forum, I ended up buying

eGo 650mAh w/ CE4 Clearomizer Blister Pack Starter Kit
eGo 650mAh w/ CE4 Clearomizer Blister Pack Starter Kit - MyFreedomSmokes.com

I also got x3 10ml bottles of 18mg liquid (Cheesecake, chocolate hazelnut, and reeses peanut butter cup)
E-Liquid - Exotic Flavors - MyFreedomSmokes.com

SO many delicious flavors to choose from.

But basically I got my entire setup for $35 with shipping. So far I have enjoyed this unit. I fully charged it the day I got it (5 days ago) and it still hasn't required a charge yet. I estimate I hit the thing 100+ times per day. The unit is easy to use. I'm loving it.

right now im looking at the ego cc but seems like nobody has it in stock. Also looking at the ego c twist but like i said im new so hoping someone could steer me in the right direction. If i had to have a budget it would be in the $125 range. I want something that will make me forget cigarettes.

Start with something similar the the Ego CC or C Twist, or even just any ego for now. Don't go big on a mod yet (usually the ones over $100 are mods). You don't know what you are looking for personally in a mod until you start with the good ole Ego. There are tons of Egos out there. I'd recommend getting one from a local shop so you can develop a relationship with them. In my experience, this relationship can be invaluable. After a minimum of a month on a nice beginner Ego setup, you will have several mods on your wishlist and you won't regret having the Ego either because it is so nice and mobile. Passthroughs are good if you are on the road or at a computer a lot but not necessary, especially once you upgrade to a mod. The beginners kit mentioned above would be a great start!
