Just wanted to say hello, tell you a little about myself, and thank the veteran forum members for posting the helpful hints, tricks, and miscellaneous information that lead me here and various other places to restart my vaping journey.

Although I just started vaping again on 10 Feb 2014 - the concept of putting down the analogs and picking up the electronics hasn't been something that new to me, as I started vaping in or around 2007 (give or take a year or two), but all it did was lead to frustration and eventually picking up the analogs again and smoking even more than I did before trying e-cigs. Even then until recently (today) the 20th day of the month, have I technically been 1 day free of smoking. Still have a whole carton and about half a pack left of my Smooths which I have not intent on touching as of yet. Since I got my ProVari and my Z-Atty Pro - the craving for nicotine is still there, just the craving for a cigarette is gone now. I did test my coiling skills, which lead me to even further want to get involved on the forums, because although I've burned up quite a bit of wire, I finally made my first 2.2 Ohm coil yesterday!

I still have a LOT of questions and I'm still kind of an RBA / RTA noob - so forgive me for asking them or bugging too much about them. Below I'll post what I'm currently vaping on, what I got on order, and what I used to use. Feel free to comment on what I did or am going to do wrong once I get off "Probation" here at ECF. And again, thanks folks for all the hints, tricks, and helpful info.

Working on it. The ONLY reason I got the higher end tech at the time I did was because I wasn't really getting much out of my Kanger Evod VV batteries. I'm guessing since my voltage levels lie between 3.8-4.5? Seemed like every other hour I was recharging them. Even with the 1000MaH batteries, they just didn't seem to cut it. The Protank 3 I found just had slightly too many problems. Flooding, liquids on my battery contacts, juice leaking into my mouthpiece, etc. I found a slight workaround for it - increase voltage - hold button for a few seconds - inhale. Fixed, the problem temporarily. But still somewhat noticeable with the gurgles. So I switched to a genesis style atomizer / tank. Can't say I've experienced any of that yet. Still working on it though.

Also found out that with the genesis style atomizer / tank that I have had to completely change my way of smoking. Before I'd take direct lung hits, now... not so much unless I want my lungs to collapse and go into a coughing fit.

Welcome to the forum and thank you for your service. You already have a great setup of mods. I didn't move as rapidly as you from the evod starter kit, but did upgrade battery device with MVP and a couple of iTaste 3.0. Inhale is definately different with vape, much like a pipe smoke at first.

And let me say... BEAST MODE! I've read about the Aspire Nautilus but still chose the Kanger instead. I think mostly because I've enjoyed most of my Kanger products. I know I could have just bought the air flow ring for my Protank 3, but I liked the Aerotank look. It vapes like a champ though at 4.2 volts which is now my special "go to" voltage . Wish me luck on my journey.
