Great to see you here. Welcome to ECF. Getting off those smokes is a tough ordeal but you can do it like many have here. Tons of support and helpful info here. Enjoy!

Thank you very much! I already feel the support, just from all the answers in this thread, so on doubt there's a lot of support and help to be had from this forum. And I will definitely enjoy; both the forum experience and the vaping.

Welcome Motorazor!!!! Glad to hear you wanting to make the switch and Congratulation on all those analogs you have not smoked since you started vaping. I did it exactly the way you are doing it now. I started vaping at the end of July. I did both and just slowly decreased my analogs as it started coming naturally due to me being able to smell things better as time went on. Soon it got to the point where I cant stand the taste of an analog and as of 11-11-14 as you can see on my sig below, I have been exclusive since to vaping. My dad smokes 3 packs a day and when he vapes, it cuts down to 1/2 pack without even wanting to quit analogs. I think he is actually transitioning to just vaping because he is bumping up his nic to 36 mg so he gets the more satisfying vape. Just remember, if you end up having an analog here and there, Don't fret the small stuff, just count the ones you haven't smoked. ;) Good luck and any questions, do not hesitate to ask.

Thank you very much! There are already several of you that suggests focusing on all the cigs I don't smoke, and I think that that's actually great advice. I was already expecting to make the transition gradually before I started vaping, but having decided to start on that path, and it's probably a good idea to not beat myself up over the few cigs I still do smoke, since there are SO MANY I have been avoiding. I am glad to hear you recently managed to make the transition completely, and I would very much like to follow in your footsteps when it comes to that. I have understood that many people make the transition gradually, and I guess I'm just one of those people who takes that approach. And in a way I'm kind of proud of how far I have come already. Compared to how much I smoked before I'm, after all, almost not smoking anymore, and I guess the drastic but I have already made is actually something to be proud of. And I will not hesitate to ask if there's something I'm wondering about or need help with; again thank you.
