I'm new to this forum. I look forward to reading more about vaping. At first vaping was just out of necessity and slowly it became more of a hobby. Almost every time I have a question or have to Google something it directs me to a post from this forum so I figured why not join? I vaped Blus for a long time before I found out that there is more out there. I like the automatic batteries but I don't like how short they last. If anyone can recommend an automatic battery that lasts I'd love to hear it. I also would like to get into making my own coils and wicks in rebuildables but that is for a later date.

Welcome to ecf.

Yeah, Blu can get you started, but depending on how long and heavy you smoked the stinkies, aren't the best. As far as automatic batteries, there may be a few out there, but since the post are not sealed, the danger of liquid getting into them and shorting them out happen way too often. Most use the manual one with a button. Their post(where the carto/clearo screws into) is sealed, so no way juice can get in. And the button allows you more control over how long of a toke you take.
So given what I just said, you can go to vapor4life.com. They have automatic batteries, all different lengths.

Good luck
Glad you found us.

Thanks guys. Yea I have a few mods that I've been dabbling with. There are just some moments where I miss the simple inhale and feel of the cigarette. I think I just like being able to use both of my hands and just keeping it between my teeth or lips while I do things. I like the feel of some of them but for the most part I love just a hands-free kind of device. I think that is just still a habit from the many years of smoking that I did. After almost five months of vaping you'd think I wouldn't be bothered by a button. Sometimes it's frustrating. Definitely can't do the buttons that are flush with the devices. That gets very old at night. I guess if they are keeping me off of cigarettes I can tolerate pushing a button. :p
