Hi all,
I thought I would post to say hello and introduce myself. I am Kristy and I live in New Zealand. I am not so much new to vaping, but am new tot he forum. I quit smoking for vaping earlier this year and have not looked back. I went from a pack of 25's a day for over half my life (17 years) to vaping and am loving it. I have and use a few different set ups, but have found my ego twist 1000mah with echo cartomiser my favourite. I make my own e liquid using flavourers apprentice concentrate flavours sold here by Rob at Naked Vapour. I prefer the tobacco flavours but have found that I am getting more into the food flavours the more that I vape. Anyway, that is a bit about me, I am looking forward to sharing this great forum with you all :)

Let me be the fist to say welcome to ECF. Glad to have you on board. I still use my twist 100mah. I gave up on the cartos. Just did not have the patients for them. I use my Ego c type b still but mostly for testing new juice. My primaries are clearo's and the VIvi nova. I was an on and off again 2-4 cigar a day inhaling smoker for i guess the last 4 years but had 20 just puffing. Just had to get off them for good. Damn things were going to get me at that rate.
Keep doing what your doing. Sing out if you have a question.

Thanks all and Pappy I will do that, I am sitting on a mix that I have remade many times now, so I consider it a winner, though there have been alot that I have vaped for a while but didn't remake, not that they were bad but just not what I was looking for. And then there are some that are on the NEVER MAKE AGAIN list! I keep a recipe book and have shared a few on our kiwivapers forum but as time goes I will post some up here from time to time when I am allowed to do so :) I try to keep my mixing simple and stick to using the same nic liquid and premix my dilution liquid always using the same base with a 20% flavour amount so it keeps things consistent. I too use a little trick to start the steeping process where I zap my fresh mix in the microwave for 3 seconds. It gets the flavours mingling with a little bit of warmth and you get a nicely mellowed bedded in flavour quickly.

Anyway I cant wait to share more stories with you all! KB

Watts are an important thing in vaping. Generally you want between 4-8 watts some attys are a bit diff.
You can figure it my hand. Volts squared divided by ohms.
Here is some other stuff I really like that I found on her.

Thanks heaps for this, I had actually come across this a few months ago and have used it to work out my set ups etc! I too highly recommend this chart :)

LOL, still not as expensive as smoking, and we have found that it can be a little costly to get set up, but once you have found the setup that suits you the cost does drop right off, and when you find a great vendor that can supply your gear at good prices, that makes it even better! We are lucky here in NZ to have Rob at Naked Vapour who will go out of his way to stock a solution if you ask for it. To be honest with out Rob I would not have found my way to successful vaping the way I have. He is knowledgeable and helpful always willing to answer questions, and does great video reviews too!

Welcome! I'm new around here too. I've just started DIY juice and would love to trade recipes with you.

Welcome! It's great you've gotten into DIY juice so quickly! I may make the foray into it soon, but as of now, I don't have the space to establish a workshop for all my ecig projects. Did you find it difficult to jump into?

Hi, I didn't find it hard to get into mixing, it is kind of what we do here as we don't have the sort of variety available like you do in the states, we find a way to DIY most anything, so eliquid was just another thing on the list :) I found that the online calculators make things super easy, and don't forget that we can not buy juice with nic, so I'd have to mix in some form anyway so I just figured I'd do it the cheapest way possible and get concentrates and make my own. I am still all into tobacco flavours, but am finding I want them sweeter and sweeter every mix. Good luck when you start, and don't worry when you find that you make a few stinkers, it is all par for the course.
