I actually made the mistake of buying a totallyvaporusa torpedo. It was more expensive than it should have been, but it is performing well at least.

Pricey to be sure, but it's a rebranded eGo and that's a damn fine PV to start with - eGos are what broke my 30+ year habit overnight. No worries, nearly everyone on ECF has bought something wildly overpriced in their early days.

I was wondering what brand it actually was. Thanks for the info! And I am loving the device and it broke me from analogs, so I can't complain :p

Ok noobies, - Which things to buy, and which things to avoid. (from 2 yr. vet)

1. stay away from tank systems...(horrible flavor) burning plastic hits sometimes.
2. stay away from little e-cigs unless you like the size...this will work on them and the vapor is colossal (GotVapes VISION EXTREME REGULAR 1.5ml 510 Carto 2.4-2.6ohm 1 PC)
3. The more nicotine in your juice, the better the throat hit...(feels more like smok'n a cig)..i use 24mg nicotine 2yrs. running now..heheh.
4. Get an ego style battery, (buy a kit w/the charger), then marry it to one of these badboys...unreal vapor lasts all day
a.) EgO Dual Coil 1.5ohm Blank Cartomizers
b.) 510 CLEAR XXXL Dual Coil 1.5ohm MEGA SOFT CAP Blank Cartomizers
c.) i got this the other day from gotvapes, he just threw it in w/my order...i mentioned it above...is small so is low-key when going out...
the Vision Extreme @ 2.4 ohms..i swear it gives me more vapor then LR 306 @ 1.5 ohms....and if you don't know what any of that means well the lower the ohms the higher the vapor production...more powerful o.k.

Hope i've been of service to you new vaporors...it takes along time to know everything... one day you'll be ordering cartomizers in tanks...vivi nova is awesome!!! has screw on caps...and wicks like clearomizers...great taste...but for now..stick with the easy stuff....

Forget a. atomizers
b. cartridges
c. tank systems
d. ego-c system
then you will have a very happy vaping experience....

p.s

while at litecigusa...get yourself a syringe for easy filling of the above items....
Happy vaping!

I dunno about that. I had the eGo-T (now called eGo-T type A) tank and it works well. I never had leaking problems and while the tank attys were shipped in primer that needed to be blown out and burned off, once you got past the first couple of toots, the taste was good.

If getting the most out of your juice's flavor is your top priority, you want to drip onto an open atty (or use a bottom-feeding mod which does the same thing, but from the bottom up). Cartos and eGo tanks are about the same as far as sacrificing a little flavor for convenience. It's all personal preference and like all things preferential, one man's trash is another man's treasure. Part of what makes vaping fun is pursuing the perfect combination of gear and juice to make your ultimate vape... and if you don't go nuts with it, the evolution of your vaping needs is still cheaper than smoking analogs.
