Gotta get my thread count up so I can participate in some threads I'd really like to get in on.

I'm a 2.5-year vaper from Newport News, VA. I started by trying Blu what seems like a very, very looong time ago and quickly realized my mistake and got a refund. From there I have tried many different disposables and minis eventually moving up to a modified 901/902 system (Revolver Ion). The Ion is what finally got me to quit buying analoges (pack a day for 10 years) and it holds a very soft spot in my heart because of it. From there I graduated into ego territory and then to the Ego-T system when it first came out. I currently vape with ego batteries and 510 cartos (rezurectors and the new 1.6-2.0ohm flanged boge cartos) in Smoktech tanks and I couldn't be happier (though I'm toying with going VV soon). I'm currently waiting for my Kick to be delivered next week so I can use my Jazz 18500 Cartopipe the way it needs to be used (Currently only have 18350 batteries for it so it's not getting much use... couldn't afford the pipe AND the kick so I went with getting the 18350s first and getting the kick this paycheck).

I'll be making the short trip to VaporCon next Friday to hang out the whole day/night but will be driving back that night as I'm heading to Fredricksburg the next day for the Rockabilly Hot Rod Rumble.

Welcome to ECF. Glad to see another Virginian on here. I was born in Richmond. Lived in Bowling Green, pretty much grew up in Tappahannock VA. moved to Roanoke then to Dallas.
I started on ego twist and passthrough. I'm hooked on the vivi nova v2.5 and the provari now. But I still have Ego c type b's that I use and some clearo's.
Again welcome to ECF Glad to see a vet vaper on here.

Thanks for the welcome. I wouldn't call myself a vet vaper (unless we're going solely on amount of time from first vape to right now, lol). There's plenty out there I haven't tried yet and plenty of experiments I have not done. I've been vaping on what I've found by chance and I hope to be exposed to lots more come vaporcon.

Welcome to the forum, and congrats on being off of ciggies for so long.

If you're going to dabble in VV, some really good batteries to have IMO are the Joyetech eGo-C Twist and the Vision Spinner. The Twist comes in 650, 900, and 1000mah - I happen to like the size of the 650's - and the Spinner is available in 1300mah. Both are well-regarded, and I think eGo-sized VV batteries are a great thing to have around. I have some fancier stuff, but I've been using the Twist almost 100% of the time since getting it a couple of months ago.

Here's a review of the Twist that I think explains really well why this class of VV battery is a good thing to have in your collection:

I'm a big fan of GrimmGreen and PBusardo. I've been holding off on getting a twist because I'm holding out on them making a passthrough version. I vape constantly throughout the day and I consistently kill a 700mah Boge Ego and a 1100mah Ego-T battery in the course of a typical day. I'm pretty sure I'm going to leave VaporCon with a Twist in my bag though, just because it's almost exactly what I've been looking for in a daily carry around PV.

I had no idea so many forum members were in the Hampton Roads area. I'm just now finding out there is a B&M vape shop on the other side of the water. I wish I had known about that sooner as there have been plenty of times I've screwed myself by not being able to place a juice order before I've run out of juice and I've had to hit up the local Hookah Lounge to get a bottle of the awful No.7 juice they sell. That crap tastes bad and kills atties but sometimes that's all I'm able to do (Plus they charge $25 for a 30ml bottle which is just outrageous for the crap quality it is). Still better than the $25 for 10ml the SmokeAnywhere kiosk sells at the mall here.

I hope my Kick comes in before VaporCon. Columbus Day might delay the order by just enough, lol.

Got my Kick yesterday. Doesn't seem to make much difference with the juice I'm currently vaping (Ahlusion Wipeout Honeydew). I'll have to mess with it more at VaperCon when I have some different juices to test it with. Turning it down below 7w definitely lowers the power but I'm not not noticing much of a difference from 7.5w to 10w. Could be a bunch of different factors including the ohm of my carto and the strength of the battery. I'll get some hands-on opinions at the Con after I get some 2ohm and 3ohm boges. My 1.7ohm cartos could be the problem.
