Hello all! I'm finding a lot of great stuff on here. I've been vaping for 3 years now and have been through all of the trends. My sister in law is opening her own vape shop next March and I've been helping her a lot with the business end (I'm a property manger and know the business and real estate market in our area). She was the one who turned me on to vaping. We've found our spot and have a unique concept for a vape shop that's a mix between an art house coffee lounge feel. She already has a friend who is a juice supplier. My brother in law and husband and I would like to start making our own in house e juice. I feel they are much fresher and it's easier to find an individualized flavor for the new or seasoned vapor. Both of the guys are chemistry buffs, and I'm a cook. I feel like I have a knack for flavors (one shop even named a flavor I had them create after me). So I know the basics of DIY juice making. I just need to know the best places to purchase nicotine, VG, PG, and flavors. We want our juices to be top quality to beat out the local competition. I absolutely love introducing smokers to vaping. I smoked for 15 years and never thought I could quit. Our passion is helping people who felt the way I did, or have been told by a doctor to quit for health reasons. I find myself selling to newbies at the stores I frequent. My favorite thing is to help veterans. We are not going to sell any juice until we've tested it and perfected it. Thank you in advance for your input! I plan to be a regular to this forum and posting my own results and reviews.

We will not be online, but a brick and mortar store located in Houston. The market demand is overwhelming and the few stores we have are not very customer friendly to new vapors. I'm having some flack from Landlords who know nothing about vaping. It's very frustrating because they approve tobacco shops in an instant. Once our deal goes through I will be advertising for the shop elsewhere, and locally. Right now I'm just trying to get into the DIY juice game to help my brother in law when they start mixing in house juices. It's a space themed shop given that we are the space city and plan to use the theme to make an original, clean, classy and unique spot that is welcoming to all people, either seasoned vapors or newbs. It's turning into a really cool and exciting ride! I wish I could quit my job and do this for a living, but I have three small children and am a partner in our family business. So for right now I will just be helping, learning, and living vicariously through them.

Thank you everyone for the welcome and all the info. This forum is a gold mine. I've noticed the vapor crowd tends to be pretty awesome and supportive. I wish the public would see more of that! I'm becoming more and more obsessed. But it's nice to be passionate about something that helps people. I got my uncle who is a Nam vet to quit over a year ago with some patience and explanation on my end and he's been smoke free ever since. The change in his health and attitude has been remarkable for him and his family. He's exercising and doing things he's never thought he would be able to do again!
