New to the forum but old hat at vaping, ipV3, lil boy dripper, orchid clone v3, Any one out there have experience with the dna40 board? It's on my wish list

Welcome bama. I've have used a vapor shark dna 40 ,and a vapor flask 40. In my opinion I like the chip but ,when I got mine I had to spend a awful lot of time figuring out the temp control feat. I had never missed with nickel until then,long story short I was having problems with micro coils in temp mode , researched and found a lot of people using spaced coils around a 8/32 machine screw. The groves in the screw made perfect coils and then you could just back the screw out . That was the only way I could get the chip to act right. If not using Tp mode everything else was ok.

Welcome to ecf! My DNA40 experience is not with the native board, but with a Hana mod. I haven't used the temp control feature because I can't seem to manage a decent nickel coil. Kanthal is just easier to build, for me!

If you go with DNA40 tight down coil wires. Took some times to figure that.
