Just wanted to say hi. Found this forum about a month ago when I started vaping. I have been analog free since I started vaping and havn't looked back. I don't typicall join forums but, everyone here seems really cool and Knowledgeable, and its been my own personal AA (Analogs Anonymous).

My current hardware is the volcano e-cig and the MAGMA e-cig with 16mg prefilled carts. I have nothing but great things to say about this Volcano. Great customer service and an excellent product.

My wife is still smoking analogs and dosen't seem to be interested in switching to to vaping or quiting. Anyone have any ideas on how to convert her to vaping? I have already had her try mine, but she doesn't think it will work for her.

Thanks in advance for the help and thanks for a great forum!

Think you could find out some specifics that make her feel it won't work? If you could, you could list them here and ask for suggestions. I researched and ordered and experimented until I had something (Screwdriver MK1 and direct drip with non-sweet tobacco flavor) that I thought my husband would like quickly. He was satisfied with the "drags," so now he knows it could work for him. His needs are probably less nuanced than your wife's, though. She IS a woman!:D

Welcome Steelie211! Glad to have you on the boards.

I'm in a similar boat to what you describe. My sister is a longtime smoker who is experiencing health issues due to her smoking. I've been very happy with my changing lifestyle since I've switched to vaping, but I can't seem to get my sister even to give it a try. She had already decided it was not for her, even before she saw a PV. I think she'll ultimately give it a try, but she has to come around to it in her own good time. She hasn't yet decided that she needs to quit, even though the medical concerns are piling up at her door. I'm hoping eventually she'll give it a chance with an open mind, and until then I have to hope she sees the improvements in my health and opens herself up to it.

Again, welcome to ECF. It's good to have you here.

Thanks for the quick response and great idea. I will see if I can get some specific answers from her tonight. She may just need to find the right pv.

I think this is the problem. She might not be ready to change her lifestyle or want to quit. I just hope she does someday as I really can't stand the smell of smoking anymore.

You might try getting her what I call my girlie kit LOL
I have a value 4 life personal charging case that is so cute, and works great with cartomizers. Keeps my battery charged all day while I am on the go.
Comes in pretty colors :) and fits in my pocket easily.
The 510 types are nice , I have them too and they are a good little system, but they are not for everyone,
Sometimes the plug and play vapor king is even better if you dont want to fiddle with things too much and many companies carry cartos to fit them.

I think you'd have more luck if you explain to her that many vapers on this forum continue to smoke analogs. If she feels no pressure to quit analogs, she may be more open to trying pvs. It's amazing how many people here quit analogs without really intending to.
