Here's the deal. About a year and a half ago i bought a modern vapor sidesho starter kit, and i loved it. I quickly got tired of trying to refill carts so i went to MV's 902, and the larger capacity was good but i thought the 902's were a bit on the cool side compared to the sideosho attys, and eventually i just wound up dripping on my sidesho all the time. Then the LR sidesho attys came out and i was in heaven. Through some combination of losing and breaking things i had to quit vaping for awhile because i just didn't have any money (seems like being 20 and a college student does that to you) but i would really like to get back into it.

What little i have left of all my sidesho parts isn't really cutting it for me anymore, so i wanted to upgrade to something bigger. First i looked at the modern vapor lux, but compared to the ego it seems like somewhat of a ripoff. And then i thought, why stop there? So i started looking for an even bigger form factor and came up with things like the indulgence, silver bullet, prodigy, xhaler, screwdriver, etc. I'm still not really sure what the name is that pv's such as these are grouped under, but this is the type of thing i'm looking for. I want something with a battery that will at least get me through an 8 hour workday, and preferably also something that produces so much vapor that i won't be able to see my computer screen when i exhale. It seems like you need to go to 5V or 6V batteries to accomplish this, and this is something i would like to try, but i'm open to suggestions. juice capacity isn't a huge deal, the new tank attys look nice but i'm probably just going to be dripping most of the time unless i'm driving or super busy at work. Also i still have at least a 2 month supply of juice so i think i'm good to go in that department for now.

I'm not looking to spend too much over $100 for this initial setup, so right now i'm torn between the ultimate indulgence v6 kit and the screwdriver mkII. The indulgence seems a bit more flexible in most areas, but with the screwdriver starter kit being only $70 right now i could get some extra attys and things like that. But as far i'm aware the screwdriver doesn't have a usb passthrough option and it is limited to 3.7 volts. I looked at provape's provari and it sounds like exactly the kind of thing i want, unfortunately it's a bit out of my budget at this point :( so my question is, what would ecf do? Have i pretty much covered everything or are there any other models i should look into? Anything else i should know?

Hi....welcome back!:) A product that is very good, great customer service and affordable is the VOLT Smokeless Image | Only The Best Electronic Cigarette | Electronic Cigarettes | Wholesale Electronic Cigarettes | E-Cigarette | Best Electronic Cigarette | Electronic Cigarette
I have a Provari and I love it! it's a bit pricy but worth every penny.. But trust me, the volt will do just fine and save you some cash for now. I'm vaping on one right now and i'm getting great vapor and throat hit from it. Happy Vaping:p
EDIT..... forgot to mention...if you do go with a 3.7 device, get a few dual cartomizers. There bigger that the standard carto and they produce a lot of vapor...

The category you are looking for is mods. The models you have listed so far are all tube mods but another option to consider are the box mods. There are some very good cheap (in price not quality) models available. Here are a few links to get you started but there are definitely more options.

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/e-cigarette-suppliers-forum/183648-quality-3-7v-box-mods-19-5v-box-mods-28-a.html

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ods-5-volt-illuminated-bottomfeeder-sale.html

You also don't necessarily need to go to 5 or 6 volt for clouds of vapor. Many people here prefer 3.7 v with LR atty's or cartos.

There is also a list of current box mods available in the forums but I can't remember where at the moment.

AltSmoke.com | Personal Vaporizers | Electronic Cigarette | Ecigs | Battery Charger (10430/10440/14500/16340 /17670/18650) - Chargers - Accessories for the charger
AltSmoke.com | Personal Vaporizers | Electronic Cigarette | Ecigs | 14500 900mAh Battery - Protected - Batteries - Accessories for the batteries... (i would get 2)

I HAVE NOT TRIED THIS DEVICE..... however if i was a college student on a budget, this is the route i would go ..... if the actual noego doesnt work, it will be easy enough to replace it with a more expensive mod and your only out 25.00 bucks, AND you wont have to buy the other hardware :) i have searched high and low, and this is the cheapest place i could find for the attys and the drip tips. goodluck!

I can't help but be reminded of blu when i see the smokeless image website, i don't know why... So does the volt only use cartos? Is this something proprietary or is it compatible with any other atomizers? Also i've been seeing the "ce2 xl clearomizers" around quite a bit and i like the look of those, but if these are not dual coil then I don't know what is :p

I can't really see myself using a box mod yet, they just look a bit too weird for me... although they do seem to be much cheaper, something else to think about. And i did just notice that they make LR tank attys for the ego, now i'm kinda leaning towards that... so many choices :(

Volt is a new generation kr808d-1. Standard 808 kits run around $35 -$50, not sure what a volt set runs.

At about $150 you could bump to a full variable voltage notcigs buzz pro setup. In about a month they should have the infinity pro, at about $115 for a full setup. I've been very happy with the original infinity, just ordered a buzz pro.(ECF Buzzkill is their coupon code).

Also at just a bit over $100, altsmokes makes some popular mods. A great lakes vapor glv2 mini is same ballpark $.

Riva 510 kits aren't bad, either, just to get your feet wet again, a bit over $30 for a 2 battery starter set from liberty flights (october20 cc). I like them coupled with boge 2 ohm cartomizers (some places call them boge lr).

Good luck!

At first I thought this was the perfect solution but with the ~$20 i would have to pay in shipping from 3 different stores it actually ends up being cheaper to just buy an ego-t xxl kit :O excellent looking mod though, this is relevant to my interests.

well that sux! i didnt realize the shipping on that noEgo was that high! guess i can take it off my favorites!!! was gonna get one so i'd have an emergency stash! not now!

okay, here is what i did, still more than you want to pay but still......i bought the Alpha from altsmoke.com, with just the batteries and the charger from the links i have already posted....it had free shipping because it was over 80.00 came to 115 and some change...then i bought the atomizers from the link i posted, 4 of them, and 2 drip tips and it only cost me 28 bucks, again free shipping, ....so i have about 140.00 bucks in the whole thing, shipped with tax. you wouldnt have to buy that many atty's either each atty is 6.50. LOL i don't know man, i hope it all works out for ya. GOODLUCK

btw my neighbor has the ego she said it is a great vape, but the batts only last her about 5 hours each, HOWEVER she is a vaping machine! she literally vapes from the time she wakes up till the time she goes to bed. :)

If you want to stay low cost definitely take a look at the rivas or egos from liberty flights, with coupon code; their shipping is also very reasonable.

If you are willing to go over 100 by a little, the infinity pro in about a month should be solid. It is a tube mod, rather than box.

I havent tried the Roughstack, but everything I hear says its great... real durable too... I vape a Riva 510 SE with boge 2.0 or dual coil cartos and it hits pretty good.... I wanted to check out mods but dont want to just dump a buncha cash, so I ordered the VV box mod from madvapes two days ago.... total with batts and charger was like $60ish.... In this way I can (with the VV) find out what I like, then it wont be so hard to drop a few dollars on a "pretty" mod.

The $28 box mods work great and, from experience from having dealt with the maker, I can tell you he will stand behind the product!!!

Welcome back man. Youre post reminds me of my first post here when I wanted to move up from my Blu's. I wound up buying a Silver Bullet from alt smoke. I still love it but its kind of my stay home PV cuz of its size. I would look into there alpha or BB there smaller and wont break the bank. Also I think madvapes still has Maxi roughstacks V2 for sale. That takes a big 18650 or 2 16340's for 6v. and fits in the pocket. Eventualy I bought an eGo kit from altsmoke too. Thats great for bringing to work/school. Two 650mah batts will last you. I have not heard good things about the eGo tank system so ask around. I here you abouy yhe provari. I have a few mods on my wish list too, but I got to keep a roof over myself too, and i cant eat e-cig stuff. Hope some of this helps Good luck to ya
cheers picklesworth.

Well i ended up just ordering the ultimate indulgence kit and some cartos because i don't think i'll ever be able to decide on what hardware to buy without trying it first, so at least this way i can find out what type of attys/cartos and voltage i like before committing to just one later. I will definitely keep all of the suggestions here in mind for my next purchase though, thanks guys :toast:

Dude, that was a realy good choice! Actualy its the first time I have seen that mod kit. Its a steal! You get 2 18350s for 3.7 volt and 16340s for 6v. Charger, adapters... and this is the carazy part you get LR and regular 510 and HV901 and 808 attys!! Plus an f'in passthrough for like 100 bucks! It has everything! Realy that is the best mod kit I have ever seen. Its likethe kit you would have to buy if you were going to e-smoke school. You sould be busy for a wile.
