Hello ECF,

I have been vaping for about a month or so, I had a e-cig from e-health cigarettes and didn't enjoy that to much so I bought a hotvape 510 and am really enjoying this one. Anyway just wanted to say hello and ask a question.

With this one I put a bacon flavor in one of my cartridges and well it was horrible and can't seem to get the taste out with a new cartridge. Any advice on how to clean the old taste out of the atomizer?

everclear

sides that, i saw someone say that white vinegar and baking soda works wonders....
they put the white vinegar in the atty, dump a lil baking soda in, cover up the open end..let it run out the battery..
haven't tried this myself-
me, i just run hot water through the atty and blow it out-
course...
i have never...nor never will...vape bacon.

Welcome! I tried bacon too- it is the candy of meats- I had such high hopes, but I am with you: GROSS!

I have heard vodka and everclear for cleaning. I would think that other high alcohol clear liquors would work as well. Don't put anything on your atty you couldn't consume yourself though, like rubbing alcohol. Good luck.

Welcome, Ersatz, and thank you. You've saved me the agony of vaping bacon. I love bacon, so you know I wanted to try it. I shall live vicariously through you instead.

I can't live without my one atty long enough to clean/dry it properly (only been at this 5 days), so I've been using flavors that don't clash in the meantime. My spares should be here soon, so I'll be putting these tips to use myself.
