Hey,
I've got questions :)
First ill start off with what my expereince has been sofar,
First I got the Elusion ecigs from new zealand (I'm in Aus),but the battery was dead on arrival so rigged up an old phonecharger to the carts and that seemed to work fine but didn't get a whole lot of vapour, im not sure if it was because of the phone charger which is 5V or that they are crap carts?

So I've ordered the Ego-T 1000MaH, and a couple of extra atomizers and tanks so I have spares because its little wait here in aus. Is this a good ecig??

Do ecigs cause you to cough in the morning or is it still because im still getting over smoking?

I really want a setup that I can totally repair, I really like the look of the "Genisis maxi" but can't seem to buy them anywhere, i like the glass tank, repairable atomizer setup alot. Its expensive with
shipping for me to buy replacement stuff when it breaks and from what i gather atomizors and the tanks break alot. Is there other products like this and if so where can i get them and the wicks/filaments to do the repairs?

Also I didn't realise the ecig scene was so big! i was watching the movie "the tourist" about a week ago and Depp was smoking one and i was like that's a good idea i wonder if they are real, lol.

thanks for your help.
also is it ok if i spam like 5 more posts so i can use the aus - new zealand forums? :)

If you smoked analogs for a long time, the damage isn't undone as if by magic. Hopefully, your morning cough will go away soon (mine was gone within a month), but other effects are going to be with you for a while.

It's always a good idea to stock up on extra supplies like cartos and juice, especially if there is a long lead time to get replacements.

I visited my doctor before I started with the e-cigs. He told me that in my first few months of using the e-cig that I would experience dehydration, coughing and cold sores. I haven't experienced the cold-sores but I have experienced the coughing and dehydration. Drink lots of water. When you think you've had enough; drink more.

He told me my lungs would probably start to slowly heal and that I should experience phlem in my coughing, which i did for a few days, but nothing severe.

I really wonder if my doctor knows what he is talking about haha.

As far as repairing an e-cig, i am not much help. Im terrible at breaking gadgets and often find myself not being able to fix anything. Looks like you got an eGO-T and thats a good kit to start with.

I haven't had much issue with the coughing, unless I draw really hard, but I had been cutting back on cigs for awhile before I started vaping. I have an eGo 1000 mah, but I use it with cartomizers rather than a tank (because that's how the kit came from the ecig store I bought it from). I also have some smaller kits, but the eGo is the one I use most, especially when I'm really feeling the cravings.

Welcome to ECF and good luck on your journey!

Hi and welcome!! I coughed when I smoked and I still cough, but much, much less. I don't wheeze any more, and that is good! I am going to reiterate the point about drinking tons of water because that will help you stay hydrated and loosen up the stuff in your lungs so you can cough it out. Good luck and welcome!!!!

The genesis Maxi and Mini are only available by getting an account over at vaporwall.com and getting on a waiting list. you will probably be waiting for quite a while, but its worth it. If you want a quicker option check out House of Hybrids Z-attys...they are very similar and will be available to buy from their store at the begining of may.

As an experienced quitter I can assure you that increased coughing (getting rid of crap in your lungs I assume) is very common without vaping. Since I've mostly transitioned to 100% vaping over the last few weeks, my morning cough is gone. Definitely drink plenty of water, that will help a lot.

Ditto on ordering plenty of supplies and "back-ups for your back-ups" - speaking from experience it SUCKS to run out of cartos/juice/a charged battery and have to smoke analogs!

After being a heavy smoker for nearly 60 years,I have kicked the dirty weed habit now for just over 5 weeks and can honestly say that I do not miss them at all.I dont cough a lot and never have, but the only thing that I seem to be experiencing is that I seem to have to clear my throat as it gets a bit thick at times when I vape.Would be nice to hear from anyone who have had the same experience, and the cause of it.I have been getting my gear from Vape escape where I have been getting great service, and ultra quick. My favourite juice is Griz black cat, just like nectar to me.

WOWSER congrats on kicking a 60 yr habit. PG will coat the throat and some find relief by gargling with mouthwash or gargling with fresh squeezed lemon and water.
Good Luck.

Hi and welcome to ECF HR15. The important points of an Ecig are volts and mah- 100 mah= 1 hr normal vaping before recharge. 1000 mah also allows you to use a large variety of cartomizers and attys.
Good Luck.
