Just wanted to drop in and get my first post out of the way, as I've been registered for a bit now but never got around to it. Just been lurking.
I'm from Chicago's south suburbs and I got into vaping a little less than a year ago now and I have progressed what I would consider very quickly.
I was a Newport 100 smoker for about 7 years or so before I actually quit on my own, successfully, cold turkey. This was 2.5 or 3 years ago. Fast forward to about 8 or 10 months ago, and I relapsed. Only got back up to about half a pack a day, and decided to get my first ecig setup, a 1300mah smok VV ego style battery with a Kanger T3S clearomizer. I had tried a friends "Blu" gas-station-bought electronic cigarette, and was completely underwhelmed, but I loved the idea and knew the design was promising.
The T3S and ego spinner was enough to get me "mostly" off the analogs, but was still lacking that thick dense hit that I desired.
I started to do some research and watching every video I could find on rebuildables, and shortly thereafter purchased my first mech mod/RDA setup - a Nemesis clone with a Cartel Mods Stillare V2 RDA, and I HAVEN'T LOOKED BACK!
Since then I have built pretty much every coil imaginable in gauges 22-30 kanthal, including super-nano's, nano's, micro's, macro's, twisted coils, tiger coils, all of it. Even Mundy Magic.
Have also picked up a Pegasus by Olympus Creations clone, an authentic Bay City Vapor XXIX full copper mechanical mod, an authentic Zenith V2 by Crescent Moon Innovations International, an authentic PlumeVeil by Aethertech, and an authentic Orchid RBA by Aethertech.
I am absolutely hooked and loving every minute of it. Ever since I first heard of the "Nicotrol Inhaler" like 10 years ago, I thought getting your nicotine without actually smoking but still inhaling something was a great idea that needed to be built upon.
Even if I'm not always posting, I am often here reading, and I hope to make some friends and learn more along the way as well!
