My name is Douglas Naumann. After 35 years of smoking a pack a day, I started vaping on April 21st. I had the nicotine juices 24/ml/mrc and I was happy with that. I am looking at gastric bypass surgery in January, 2017. You have to be nicotine free for three months before surgery. So the end of May, 2016, I stopped all nicotine (that was a week of hell)!!! I am here seeking experiences with vaping and gastric bypass surgery

I cant personally say anything but I have a friend that had it don about 8months ago and she vapes without any problems.

Welcome to ecf. Glad you found us. Depending on how you
feel about your dr, you may want to ask them. If they are the ones who told you to cut nicotine, then they may have a negative attitude about any or all intake. I know from personal experience vaping is healthier than smoking.

If you are now nic free but want something to do with your hands, etc there is always zero nicotine ejuices you can vape. May be worth considering.
