Hello everyone!

I am still fairly new at vaping. I've been off cigarettes for about 2 years now! I recently upgraded from a MVP 2.0 + Mini Protank III, to a Innokin cell Disrupter 50Watt + isub Apex combo.

I'm just curious if you are able to recommend the best atomizer to use for sampling e liquid. Because my usual all day vape is a tobacco menthol, it's what helped me quit smoking, I don't want to mix my after breakfast cheesecake flavor with menthol in the same tank if you can understand my dilemma lol

Here's what I was going to buy, but I'm not sure if it is compatible with my battery.
It's a 3.0 ohm 510 Atomizer that you drip 2-3 drops into. ( ugh can't post links apparently )
Am I able to use it with the innokin cell?

I've been told to switch to an rda for this purpose, but I'm still hesitant on making that jump right now, hence why I bought the Apex.

If anyone can help that would be great!

howdy - and welcome!

disrupter should be able to handle ohms that high (seems it only lists .2 as minimum in product description) - may be worth looking around a little though... maybe a 1.8 ohm (would have to use pretty low wattage with 3.0 ohm) Empiremods Bridge Free LR510 1.8ohm

going to tag @LouisLeBeau - he knows a thing or two about a thing or two :)

Thanks! I'm looking to vape a lot of samples. I just got a subscription for zamplebox for christmas and I noticed a lot of the liquid has more than 50% VG, will these be able to hold up?

Hai Brudder!

OP, yep, a LOT of old skool vapers still use 2-3 drop dripping atomizers. The flavor is about as accurate as it comes. Empire makes a great atomizer, but they are kinda pricey. The HH357 that Hanna Hadawara hand makes (these hold about 10 drops) is to vaping as Magnepan speakers are to audiophiles, but at $24 per, not really a viable option anymore imho.

But for DIY taste testing, I can't imagine a better device than a 510 drip atty. You can buy original Joye's in bulk at VaporKings. 99 cents or less, depending on how many you buy. 1.5 ohm is considered "low res" lol, and the 2.3ohm are standard. Here is the link:

Joye 510 or Joye eGo electronic cigarette replacement atomizers

Also, a lot of the old skool drippers talk about them in this timeless, epic thread:
Regular Atty Drippers (A Dying Breed?)

I would suggest you keep a small bottle of unflavored base handy if you intend to switch often. A couple drops in between flavor changes will prevent any cross-over flavoring. :)
Good luck, and welcome to ECF!! Glad to have another Vaper on board!

I never thought about buying an unflavored base! Thank you so much!! I can't wait to get them in the mail. :D

That DCFluegel guy is now the guy you want to talk to again. Not even sure you CAN buy unflavored base. But you can MAKE it, for about 2 cents/ml with whatever nic you want. SOME people enjoy vaping JUST base, as VG is sweet on it's own. Once you can make base, you are a DIY'er and THIS guy (@dcfluegel) has some very nice recipes for make your own eliquids that are WAY cheaper and in most cases, better, than store bought, if budget is any concern to you.

morning, Louis!

I think a number of places do sell unflavored base, but if you have ANY interest at all in DIY, my suggestion would be to get the free nic base sample from NudeNicotine.com ($2 shipping for 15ml sample of nic base - when i ordered, i got the 100mg/ ml version in 50%pg/50%vg)... depending on what nic level/ and vg/pg mix you are currently vaping - well, here are some sample numbers... to make 250ml of a 6mg, 70% vg 30% pg juice with no flavoring (but the higher vg percentage here will smooth it out and give it a little bit of a sweet flavor), you would take 15ml of the 100mg nic in 50%vg, add it to 167.5 ml of vg and 67.5ml of pg... then cap it and shake the snot out of it... voila, 250ml unflavored juice

**keep in mind, when working with concentrated nic base (like the 100mg/ml nic mentioned above) you DO want to glove up, wear long sleeves and be in a ventilated area for safety reasons - this is a HIGHLY concentrated nic solution and could be toxic to children, animals, large marmosets and small be

Thank you so much @dcfluegel ! I'm not entirely sure if I am ready for DIY's just YET but now that I know I'll keep this in mind in the future!
@suprtrkr I really like the idea of using an RDA and I plan to get one in the future, but at the moment I figured I'll just use a simple atomizer for sampling!

@LouisLeBeau Thank you so much for these awesome people you recommended!
