I've checked out the forums a few times but didn't join until now. I've been vaping for a few months and figured I would stop in and say hi.

I'm currently vaping on a kicked Bombshell Stinger with a Vivi Nova. Does anyone have any suggestions for a carto tank, I've been wanting to try out one of those for a few weeks but don't know where to start.

Welcome, I haven't tried every tank obviously but I really prefer my vivi to carto tanks, a lot easier to handle, fill and maintain. That being said I've heard good things about phiniac tanks and other glass tanks, I'd avoid the little cheap plastic dual coil tanks I have yet to get one that preformed that wasn't leaky. Your Mileage May Vary.

What you purchase kind of depends on your e-cig budget. I use a SS DCT MAP tank by Clouds of Vapor that's bullet proof. I also have another, a little smaller from a different vendor. Their ea at least a year old and look brand new. Only thing they ever need is a new o-ring from time to time. They'll last forever, but I paid $40.00 plus for each.

On the other end of the spectrum, for less than $10.00 I found nice travel tanks with cartos at Valley View Vapes. They seem like real nice people. Their plastic tanks have a screw plug for filling on the run, so you don't have to take them apart at the airport.

I fly a lot, so I'm always worried about my good equipment being confiscated by some over zealous TSA rep; though, I've never had a problem outside of a few weird looks and questions. Regardless, at $10.00, who cares if they are lost or confiscated.

I started out with Smoke Tek tanks and cartos that I got from Totally Wicked, neither of which I use anymore. I don't like the cartos that have the flat bottom; because, you can only pull the carto out one direction, making it harder to fill.

Word of advice, when using a Kick, I've found it does not work that good with a dual coil carto. I like dual coil cartos, but I only use them with a good mechanical mod (no Kick) or my ProBuzz. Dual coil cartos are a little flat when using a Kick or Provari and I've read there are also flat with Zmax, Darwin and a few other VV/VW devices. Regular cartos work great on all the VV/VW devices.
