Hello all! Brand new to this forum, not new to vaping. Former smoker turned exclusive vaper over 4 years ago.

I don’t know much about the inner workings/mechanics of mods, etc.

I’m grateful to be on this forum; to have access to all the knowledge of the vaping gurus out there!

Currently, I’m having an issue with smok T Priv mod.
Both screws on top of mod are missing, rendering it useless.
Keeps showing ‘ohms too low’ message on display screen.
Anyway, my question is, where can I find replacement screws, and will it work if I do find them..?

Not specifically. I did go to their website hoping to find something ther, but to no avail .
I think their contact phone number is Chinese....

If you can get a screw that's right, you can take it to a hardware store and see if they can match it up to one they have in stock. Will it work? I'm not familiar with that device, but I'm not sure how missing screws could cause an "ohms too low" error. Can you post a pic of what you're talking about (the screws, not the screen)?

Just looking at my T-Priv, the screws seem to be the same ones that are on my Target Pro. The same star allen fits both of them. I had a problem with one of the screws on the Target Pro and asked Vaporesso about it. They replied with:

The size for star screw is M1.4 *6MM

I'm not sure where you could buy these but I hope that helps.

Wow!! Thanks so very much for this information!! My husband only has a t10 (smallest torx). And he’d never seen one so small as to fit these torx screws.

We checked Home Depot website, and they have a T4 through T6 set. Hoping this will work

I’ve read in several blogs that they could possibly be purchased at electronic/hobby stores. However, I realized I had another smok (much smaller) mod that I’m not using, so I’m going to harvest the torx screws from it.
I’ll keep you posted if it works or not.

I don't think the 5 is small enough. I bought a set of tiny star allens by Fixinus on Amazon for $6.99.

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on 4 years. Can't help you with the screw issue, but loctite is used to secure screws/bolts when necessary.

It worked! I used a T5 torx screwdrivers with the torx screw from un-used smaller mod (same brand) and its working beautifully
