Hello, I have been reading here for hours and searching the web every time I think I'm onto something, but I'm even more confused.

I've read through this site and am not sure I understand everything so please bear with me.

I do know that I want a 510. I see them all over the net under various brand names. Are they all the same?

Can I get a 510 in an automatic?

I want to refill my own and know I need the juice and blank cartridges (I think). Do i just need cartridges or cartomizers (sp?). All the info I have read uses lingo I don't really understand, or is contradictory.

Sorry if this is all just stupid noob questions.

Thanks
-Nick

Also don't know if it's against the rules or not but if someone could point me in the right direction as far as a website to buy from I would really appreciate it. If not, I understand.

Go to the quick navigation at the bottom and select the supplier list, all of them are good. You can order a kit that would have everything you need to get started, I would get a kit that has 2 of every thing for starting. Maybe a small bottle or two of juice and you should be good to go. Once you get started, the things covered on this site will make more sense.

Yes... 510's are pretty much all the same...jsut dfferent brands. Some are better than others....but that is also choice preference.
- 510 auto...yes you can get....
- you can get blank carts or just refill the prefilled ones......do look around and check out the blue foam mod tha is very popular....it works!!
- stroll through the venders list near bottom of main page....there are a ton of them.....you cna also look through the review threads....every person has a different preference for venders, flavors, etc....but that is the joy of vaping.....some much to try!!!!

I purchased all of my starter stuff at Cignot. I (and most of the rest of this forum) highly recommend them. They also are AMAZING at answering any and all questions you might have without you feeling like you are being talked down to (a problem I have had when getting into a new medium which already has devoted followers with their own lingo...)

I would also recommend FreedomSmokesUSA as they have some of the best liquid I have ever tasted and are equally knowledgeable and friendly.

Hope this helps!

Cart vs cartomizer. You use a cart(ridge) with an atomizer. A carto(mizer) is a single piece that combines both the cartridge and atomizer. It tends to boil down to a preference as to which you use. The cartos generally hold more liquid than the carts making them a little more convenient. I also find them useful in keeping flavors separate (tobacco from cinnamon from butterscotch from key lime). There is an equally large vociferous group that cannot stand the cartomizers and prefer their atomizer with a cart and/or drip tip.

A lot of these things will become clearer when you have your kit actually in your hands and you can find what combination works best for you.

Hi, Welcome! I just purchased an Ego and I ordered both cartridges (with a few atomizers) and cartomizers(already have the atomizer inside) to see which one I liked best. People have really different needs in terms of their lifestyles (mine is pretty busy) so different things suit different people. You can't go too wrong either way.

I have both a Kr 808 system and the Ego (510 based system) again as long as you buy from a reputable dealer, you can't go too wrong either way.

Oh, look at the top of the newcomer's page for the sticky by MistressNomad. It has great information of both the Kr808 and the 510 and she did a really great job with it.
