I tried Blu 2 years ago and it did nothing for me and I kept smoking cigs. They seemed ok with the first 1-5 draws then the batt dropped so bad I got zero vapor, taste and TH.

I researched another starter kit to try again almost a year ago and went with Halo G6.... I haven't smoked since. It was way better than a Blu and Torque gave me the cig taste I was craving. Granted, I jumped up in the Halo line kinda quick (ordered several Triton batts then three weeks later, the Triton VV) but I can tell you this:

My friend bought an EVod-constant issues, one batt died in 3 weeks on her, leaking tanks constantly. Me, well ALL of my 9 batts from Halo ALL are still working (oldest are over 10 months), had a few leak tanks, recently (again, 10 months old) and I've been very happy with their customer service and support. Halo is a great starter kit and I still use the VVs today.

Good luck! And stop by Halo forum on here for any specific questions! Very helpful peeps!

I started with a Blu disposable. But I knew I was on my "quit day." It worked! for a day. Then a nice lady at the tobacco shop suggested the Logic cig-a-like. With a little usb charger and 2 batts, it was good. In fact, I still use them. The carto is metal, so I use them for tank craking juices like Hot Cinnamon. And I was refilling the cartos.

But to your question. The Blu batteries suck. The Halo G6 is the best cig-a-like you can get. The proprietary threading is not an issue like it is with the next level. You can use the cartos, or Halo has mini-tanks that work well (and can be used on Triton batteries, if you move up in that direction.

Others will and have suggested that they wished they started bigger. But they are not you.

Nic? I agree with 18 to start. Maybe also get 12 to vape while drinking. The 18 might be too much.

And best of luck to you. I started with a Blu some 8 months ago, and zero cigs since then!!

I guess what im trying to do based on peoples reviews, is analyze if the users telling me to go advanced right off the bat are heavy smokers or more casual like me and if that does play a part on determining what to get.

I think I am going to go the halo g6 for now. i know most will say you will out grow it, but like anything in life you don't start off big; you begin small and then progress until you outgrow

In my honest opinion you are making the correct choice, for now and who know maybe forever. Like I said in my earlier posts I still use my Halo G6 gear. I actually have a Kayfun Lite + V2 attached to the one manual Halo G6 battery I have. You know what the Kayfun vapes fine. Battery won't last long (I did need an adapter) but it works.

I was what I call a heavy smoker. Approximately 25 cigarettes a day for many years (sometime many more than 25 a day). The Halo G6 setup is what helped me put down the cigarette completely. The Blu didn't.

The main thing is to stop smoking cigarettes. How you do that really isn't that important.

Best of luck to you.

Larger devices deliver more nicotine more quickly as well as producing more vapor. There are exceptions but generally people who smoked more need more nicotine and more vapor to be satisfied.

However, even if you move up to a larger device cig-alikes are handy to use when you want to vape very discreetly. I have loads of larger gear but have always used my eRolls for out and about as well as when I want the psychological satisfaction of using something small and simple.

The G6 sounds like it is in your current comfort zone and should be more than adequate considering how little you smoke.

I suggest you get at least one extra 5 cartomizer pack.

Each cartomizer is about the same as 5-12 cigarettes depending on how you use them. Some will say each one is like a pack of smokes. That is not what I have found. I actually order the juice in a bottle and refill the cartos I have.

What flavor are you thinking about getting?

Personally I find Tribeca to be the one flavor I always go back to. I have a cabinet full of juice and vape Tribeca everyday, along with other flavors in other tank system. Tribeca is my Go To juice. It has a slight tobacco flavor with sweet undertones.

I also got into vaping wanting to use something that was as similar to a cigarette as possible. I tried the Blu, and I liked it for a couple of weeks. But a buddy of mine told me about smokelessimage.com, and so I tried their e-cigs. Awesome e-cig. I'm not a big fan of their bigger batteries, especially the fact that they have their own threads that can not be used with other tanks/batteries, but their e-cigs are fantastic. I tried the Halo one a little later, and they're very similar, but when I'm out and about and don't want a massive mod in my hand, my smokeless image e-cigs are what I keep with me.

I have no opinion on Menthol. I didn't smoke menthol cigs.

For me all the menthol juice I've tried was, is, overpowering. But then I didn't smoke menthol cigs. I do some times use some menthol juice in my mix of flavorings.

Don't go crazy. If you need to buy a pack and then Stretch it out over the next week or so along with vaping.

The E-cig and especially the juice you ordered, might not be to your liking, right off the bat, and having some real analogs around can help you get through the first few days of vaping.

Having a few analogs isn't going to kill you, at least not right now. But getting some nicotine in your system will relieve some of those cravings.
