im also looking at this menthol x liquid and im a bit sad that I cant try it until I get a refillable tank.

They're out of stock at the moment, but these are what I use. According to the list above, they should work with your Halo G6 as well. I've found they last a while, and I've yet to have one leak on me yet.

You don't need a refillable tank to try other flavors.
The cartomizers that come with your G6 are refillable.

There's a lot of information around here about how to do that.
And lots of videos floating around out there as well.
:)

am I wrong to say,
just like the Tritons are Kanger T2
the G6 is a Kanger E-Smart...

- Kanger e-Smart/T4 510 Top Coil 1.3ml 2.5ohm Clearo - CLEAR 1PC [gv-eSmart510Clearo-2.5ohm-Clear] - $3.95 : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more
- Kanger E-Smart 808D-1 808 808D1 Clearomizer
- e-Smart clearomizers - package of 5

available in both 510 & 808 threading...

Well guys I've been using my g6 for a few hours and I must say I do not crave my analogs at all. In fact the smell makes me go ugh. This menthol ice tastes like vanilla and I like it.

I want to believe ill be in the minkrity here that a g6 will be sufficient for my needs. I'm taking a step at a time and I'm happy. Only issue I'm dealing is old habits. Like I was going to wakk outside to smoke then I realized I don't need to

One last comment over habbits: while I don't crave an analog, I feel like I'm not smoking unless I have that motion of lighting a cig. Am I the only one?

I caught myself several times trying to absentmindedly light my cig-alike with a lighter. :( I put the lighters in the garage.

I'm so happy the your G6s are working so well for you. Congrats on getting off to such a good start.

so glad to hear !

yepper, you are describing the 'ghost effects' of a habit past

after close to a year of -NOT- for me, every once in awhile I grab for my 'bic' in my pocket
and a slight panic washes over me when it's not there - only lasts a split second now a days,
but old habits do die hard...

just teach yourself NEW habits, you can do it -- good luck to ya

:)

my battery died early but I didn't fully charged it. I fough so hard to not smoke so much when I drink cuz when I drink, I went through a pack and a half when I drink. mostly ill smoke a cig for 5-8 puffs and toss it away half way done.

I won. I let my needs for it die. I got home and I unplugged my other bat and plugged my smokes to it and plugged my dead battery to charge. I won a slow war. for us small guys, this to me IS a win. to me, this is my D-day.

ok, I apologize for updating this thread but I want new folks to get a glimpse from a new guy in terms what he experienced, especially if they are like me: smokes 1/4 a pack out of boredom or 1-1.5 when drinking.

I think I killed my first cartridge but my battery died as I was at the bar. I began freaking out since I needed my smoke and I took a hit from a guys analog but I didn't like it. I got home and took a hit from my camel silver menthols, but it didn't do it for me. I was waiting for my battery to finish charging. I tried to hit my first cartridge but saw no smoke or feel the taste so I thought I killed it. I then decided to try my sub zero pack. tasts the same but with smoke and flavor.

I think im going to go through 2 cartridges a day so I might need to plan for it. the issue I have is when I chain smoke analogs, I get this heavy feeling in my chest so I stop. not so with vapers, so new folks be aware. I don't know if I finished my first so be aware of it. other than that, I have no desire for regular analogs.

No you are not.

I would sit at my desk/computer and put an E-cig in my mouth and then GRAB My Lighter, BIC, and Light it. Then I'd catch myself moving it towards the E-cig.

Then I'd say, to myself of course, "What the F am I doing". Habits DIE HARD. I no longer do that but it did happen for a few weeks.

I have found it best to Refill the cartomizers before you run them dry. Once you run them dry you can possibly burn the filler material and that burnt taste will never go away.

So I recommend you order some liquid from Halo in the same flavor you like. Then get a small bottle to put some in and to carry with you. Then when you are hitting on the carto hard take the plastic mouth piece out and drop some in, 5-10 drops depending on whether the filler looks dry or Real dry. That way the cartomizers will last much longer and you will never be without your E-cig.

I also suggest, if the Halo G6 is working for you, to go ahead and buy another starter kit so you have 2 chargers, 4 batteries, and another 5 pack of cartos (and of course the extra case). The starter kits are cheaper than buy all those parts individually.

Glad it is working for you and I'm very glad you are not smoking. All my best to you and keep up the good work.

They won't work with the Halo G6 system. They look to have 510 threads. Halo sells mini tanks. But I suggest not to use them. I have some and used them and I like the flavor from the cartomizers better than from those mini tanks

You don't have to wait for your battery to finish charging in order to use it.

If you can make the switch to the 510/eGo regular hardware a whole lot of options will open up.
You can get passthrough batteries that can charge while you vape.

Top recommended battery is the itaste mvp2 which if you shop around you can find for $40.
An economy version is the itaste vv v3; there is also an ego v3 mega (? not sure the name)

Hi all,

thanks for having a wonderful forums where ive been reading these past few hours. I finally decided to switch after having someone let me try their blu e-cig. I liked it and I figured I would switch from analog smokes as a way to help me quit. I've been reading reviews on both and plenty of folks seem to dislike blu and praise halo g6 for us noobs. I would like some feedback from folks who might have tried both.

also:

When it comes to smoking analogs( as you guys call it) I vary. I smoke anywhere from a few a day to an entire pack(when out drinking). I can make a pack last me 2-3 days, but then theres a few days I got 1.5 a day (again when im drinking). When I was surfing the halos website, I was confused on the different mgs they have listed. I don't want to be more addicted, as that's my last goal. Ive been trying to figure out where to begin and would also appreciate feedback on this as well.

Thank you for your time folks

Congratulations making the decision to try and switch from stinkie smokes to vaping!!!! The biggest step is done; you've decided!

Now to answer your question directly; I've tries both and didn't like either. In all honesty the "cigalikes" as allot of us call them, didn't do anything for me.
The one that came the closest is something called the "eroll" or "mini". It's a kit similar to blu put out by a company called joyetech.
http://www.joyetech.com/product/details.php?gno=123

Tr upside to the eroll is they the atomizer(heating element) can be changed out and the tank is easier than most the refill. You can also use ante juice in it you like. The downsides in my opinion are workable- here is a good in depth review on it.
http://www.tasteyourjuice.com/wordpress/2013/01/28/the-emini-aka-eroll-review/

I take the no mindset if not talking someone into or out of any certain type of equipment; and, I know most "vapors" on this forum, at least, don't care for the cigalikes much, I agree with them. The only one that did me any good was the eroll and i still grab it from time to time.

Before you invest any money in anything; if I may be so bold, do yourself a favor and do some research on everything that's out there. Do what you're doing now and ask a lot of questions. I made the switch in October and I didn't use the google machine; I didn't know about ECF and I had only one brick and mortar store, at the time, here in my area. And that place fleeced me. I went through 2 "cigalike" kits and 3 ego kits before I decided to use that cool internet thing and found what works for me.

I'm not saying that a "cigalike" is bad; not by any means. Everyone likes something different. And it's not anything about mine is better than yours. The goal for all of us is to stop giving money to Phillip Morris. My fiancé vaped on blus for almost a full year and loved them.

Best suggestion I can give anyone considering trying a blu, or some other cigalike would be to try it, get a couple of disposables to see what you think before you spend the money on a kit.
And if you have a vape shop in your area go in there and talk with them; see what else is out there before you make a decision.

Best of luck to you and congratulations again.

If you have any other questions feel free to pm me.

does anyone know if the g6 can be charged using 220? or will I need a converter when I need to charge it? I ask since one day ill be going to south America and want to know it wont fry my system.

All the USB wall warts are universal, able to be used on 120 to 220. Look at the wall wart. You may need a magnifying glass. Here's an image.

All you need is a PLUG adapter. To change from the USA 2 prong plug to whatever is used where you are going.
